Multi Mayoral Towns

Honestly why can there only be one mayor, when co-owning a town with someone, it's kinda a bummer to be the co-mayor instead of the mayor. Should be a pretty simple fix too

Multiple mayors would not go well. Just make the highest contributor mayor

 

It's the title though. No equal contributor wants to be co

It just messes with the perms and there is no need.

What you guys can do is switch the mayor position once a week or something

If you or your co-conspirator are having issues with being called "co-mayor" instead of "mayor", then you should not be running a town in the first place, let alone with someone else.

Not possible without altering how the towny plugin itself works, unlike co-mayor which is just adding in information and perms.

 

Just add them as co-mayor.

That's what we did @ Borealis. Nivalien, Enter_The_Void, HeyImTiff, and I were all owners. We just all talked about what we did or will be doing and had a vote system with all 4 of us.
(Niv was mayor and the rest of us was co-mayor)

Ok I like the idea... but then again, we should just keep it the way it is. Playing with the towny plugin can be... messy. Maybe just make a rank that is the same as co-mayor but have it be called mayor. This mayor rank would not have /t add rank or /t delete or anything.

 

/t rank add is already a co-mayor command
