... That's interesting. Though reading that out loud sounds more like some song out of the Minion franchise than anything else, definitely not X-files. I'm probably not the best choice to comment on your translation of the song into words though... I'm terrible at music.

 

As sad as i am to lose the town that felt like home for me and as sad as i am to lose certain items such a old player heads i will NEVER be able to get back EVER! and my house that i fell in love with, i am happy that many things are getting fixed and we will reunite and work threw this horrible mess! honestly, I think its a very good idea to start out fresh, hopefully everybody on the server can all get along and work together to make this as easy as possible!

 

The staff team can never win. Even when we are outright truthful to players since we get the whole lip about transparency some still have their ideas on ''what's really going on.''

I seriously doubt that they would have a WHOLE NEW towny world ready in 4 days. They need to re-do a lot of the stuff, and they need to decide how to arrange and whether or not to include certain things (khem khem /warp shop). Setting up a whole towny server from basically scratch is not feasible within the time period you're suggesting. Of course I don't know exactly what they need to do and which projects take time, but I'd assume it would take a few weeks to set up. However I could be wrong by miles, my guess is as good as anyone's.

Y'all mentioned that old towny maps would be available for download.

Is this just the map, or the entire map with towns in it? If all our towns are in the map, what's preventing us from simply restoring those? (tbh I don't mind the reset, but I'm just curious).

I'm genuinely curious and not trying to hate on anyone here.
