I really do hope that Meep will not become your average hub server. Who cares that we're not as popular as some other, more notable servers? I realize that Meep is in desperate need of funds, but I do not think we should betray Meep's core values in order to become a regular Joe and get the money. We are a Towny server, and we should stay one. Meep will pull through this, as it has through all other adversities, but we should not lose the point of Meep in the process.

 

Well staff have to be on and select that event for it to play, therefor it is not a real minigame.

 

I do understand this, but i dont think we will be an average hub server. We have a unique community but we aren't going to stay up if we don't cater more to the public and get more donation methods in. This is the core belief we've held onto for a while but we haven't been getting very far with it, and with new change maybe we'll rise out of the ashes

Typically I would be very upset by this, but i truly think this is for the better. The server was failing anyways, and this is a fresh start to a possibly great new server. I think I may want to be apart of this. I look foward to the new meep, and I will see you all there

 

With this new reset. I think we should bring back rank shops instead of 1 donor shop. I feel like it would make more people want to buy a rank or play on the server more to make money in game. If this was implemented back more people would go for Ultimate instead of settling for VIP

 

This is very unfortunate and it's quite disheartening
But we as a community will need to pull together and get past this together. Hopefully Meep remains as strong as it is and once was, and becomes even stronger. I love Meep and will continue to support this server.
(I'm actually quite excited for the reset, because that means whenever I come across a village in Wild it won't always be either burned to the ground or just already been visited lmao )

I think this is a good thing. A fresh start is what this server needed. We might be able to advertise this as a "Grand re-opening" on advertisements. I just want the server back asap so I can see Aubo again.

I want to address the issue of ranks. I know we will get our ranks back, but what about the money we rank sellers have earned from selling ranks? I have spent $170 ($330 total) on just rank selling on this server since gamma has come up. Was this all for nothing now?

Do you guys have a time estimate of when the project will be done? I will just be playing battle field until it's up.

 

I don't think it will do well for them to set a due date yet, they are not good at keeping those in order (Sorry staff, not blaming you, because I understand that it's really hard work, just saying achieving stuff by due dates is not your strong front.)

• it is unclear what perks are staying
• no one knows when the server will be ready
• they are putting their focus towards towny and not minigames at the moment
• there will only be one towns world
• this has nothing to do with the recent blacklisting
• klutch is going to be paying for backup plans out of his own pocket to ensure this never happens again
• the server is not open to the public, that's why there are limited people online helping rebuild it
• bans will be lifted with the reset
• mcmmo/jobs, bug fixes, rule adjustments, less punishments, taking suggestions

 

As long as they don't name the new towny world Delta then ill be happy ^.^
