Reset Concerns

I'm completely fine with the reset, and I fully understand why it's necessary. But, will I get my rank back? Not that it even has good perks anymore, but I paid a lot of money for ultimate. I'd at least like my rank given back to me.

As far as the reset goes, I think this can only be a positive thing for MeepCraft. The player-base has been dwindling for a while now, I think this reset could potentially bring back old players (fed up with the 3 towny worlds/broken economies). Hopefully, the majority of current players stay around. Having one towny world should potentially make a closer-knit community as a whole. MeepCraft started on one towny world, and I've seen many close friends come and go because they dislike the alpha/beta (then gamma) systems.

Maybe this reset could be an opportunity to introduce some new things? I know it's controversial, but I still stand behind diamonds being the currency of the server (instead of gold). Diamonds have more practical minecraft use; whereas, gold does not. Perhaps the price of diamonds could actually go up and down? Seemingly, there is more of a general demand for diamonds then that of gold. Also... Cough... Cough... Towny War?.. Cough

I hope that in 2017, especially with this reset, that MeepCraft goes back to its roots of being a TOWNY server. The minigames and all are great, but that should not be the focus of the server. I'm sure the staff team is working hard now trying to get everything up and running, and the playerbase thanks you for that. Cheers to a new future for MeepCraft!

 

We'd all be fine and happy if we got our ranks back. But if meep says that isn't possible, well, they'll recieve a crap load of refunds, causing them to go broke, and Fuzzlr to loose thousands of dollars

 

I think Towny war would be great and maybe even adding stocks back in a way so that it cannot be abused

I stand beside you when you say diamonds should be the supreme currency on meepcraft. The reason why diamond prices has gone down and never up previously is due to the absolute economic cancer known as /fix, which made diamond tools and armor usable forever. Diamond prices will surely fluctuate now that fix will be removed.

 

Believe it or not, I still had a leather helmet with mending on it in legacy XD it was sitting in a bookshelf (bookshelves also glitch when u try to put stuff in them)

 

They removed fix and mending, fix notes had like 1% chance of spawning, and diamond prices STILL dropped (mainly because they removed jobs)

 

No, diamond prices dropped because they removed sell from shop. If they hadn't removed sell from shop, diamonds would never have gone below that sell price.
