I hope staff can recover towns because no one wants to rebuild whole town...

As I was always saying, the only thing that keeps me playing Meep is my town, but now it's gone... I really don't want to quit Meep because I REALLY CAN'T find another towny server like Meep, but also I don't really have reason to stay here...

I'm struggling...

 

I hope towns get restored too.

 

I played meep since 2012 and building my town was hard work and took me long enough to get my money and stuff. When gamma was introduced no one played alpha/beta, so I had to start playing gamma. Starting from nothing again was rough and made me quit for a while, but i came back because I noticed that I had my town still. Now that it is now gone it really sucks knowing the memories I made in the town or with the community are gone. But I still have hope meep can thrive and get better. Although I won't have my town, I still have the community/players. We just need to work together to help each other out.

 

I do agree with h okling there were great memories in icefalls but I'll just build another. But could keep give the town owners 150k to make a new town?

I know how you feel...I started my town in 2014, around Valentine, also worked very hard to let my town looks better... few months later due to my inactivity, my town felt once, all items are gone but buildings are still there so I didn't quit and keep playing. But now it's all gone... it really break my heart...

 

Now I'm kinda glad with this because I had a town in alpha then most people when off to Gamma so I couldn't really find residents for my alpha town. I didn't want to abandon it because I put hard work into it and I was scared it might fall. Then again I wanted to create a new town but didn't want to lose it.

So now I'm fine because my town is gone so what I can't do anything but to create a new one

Just take the next step, it's not the end. I know there are so many hugee towns that people have made and they would be distraught.

 

maybe this was all a plot to reset towny without the blame. gotta think big.

It was mostly old players who objected to towny resey because they had momentos that meant a lot to them. With us gone the server reset is honestly not that bad. In fact, it would probably be better for the server is most ways.

 

Epick it's suppose to remain a secret.

dont think you've realized since 2012 we've had to go through 3 server resets

I for one do want to rebuild a whole town, this'll be at least number 10 (really not good at holding onto them). I already have big plans too.

 

Will we be able to copy/paste them into the new towns world?

Every server gets resets and we will have to understand.

I mean even if they could/did do that, players would lose all data, lose all housing, the fastest player to get enough meebles can claim all the good stuff, its not worth it, its probably just best that it's just completely redone

i'm kinda pumped to build a new town, personally. i have a lot of ideas, but yeah i'll miss the old ones.
