Increased Mob Spawner Range

    Hello,

    I came to suggest the increase in mob spawner range in TownsG, TownsA, and TownsB. I find that trying to create a decently effective mob grinder is hard to create these days without the ability to mine spawners as in the past. I think that increasing the range of spawners (/blockdata <xcoordinateofspawner> <ycoordinateofspawner> <zcoordinateofspawner> {RequiredPlayerRange: <distance from spawner mobs will still spawn>} by possibly x2 (which would increase max range from 16 to 32) allowing Meepers to create mob grinders that could maybe turn on that one spawner that is barely out of range. I'm not sure if there is a way to do it server wide, so it affects all spawners, but i know you can use /blockdata to set one of them.

    I see the idea behind this, but wouldn't an alternative be simply boosting difficulty? Currently, all Towny worlds are set to Easy mode. Would it not also make grinders and such more accessible if difficulty were increased? There are certainly side effects to both. Increasing the spawning range won't make too much of a difference because there is still the entity cap. As long as a mechanism is present to take mobs out of the spawning range as quickly as possible, it won't really affect the efficiency of mob farms.

    I agree. Very agree (if thats a thing) !!

    This will enable faster guardian farms and witch farms as well. Economy is bad anyway, so no worries about it crashing the economy.
