I could not be happier! Being 18 I was finally able to vote and being a Republican I voted for Trump, this was such a great feeling because voting for the first time and the person I voted for won! anyways, Trump will do amazing in office, he has already stopped a war because Putin said he would go to war with America if Hillary got in, he has stopped jobs from leaving America, I just wish people would open their ears and pay attention instead of looking at social media memes. The first thing he is going to do is fix out education system, bye bye common core and standardized testing, time to start being taught to learn instead of taught to test. so many things will change, #Trump

A) 5 people making $200/hr won't bring a 1000 job average from $20-$30. (It brings it to $20.90)

Electors demand intelligence briefing before Electoral College vote

Seems like there is still a chance the EC will buck Trump.

 

If the electoral college actually chose someone other than trump I can't see it being a peaceful transition. The fact that there were people saying they would rebel if Hillary won fairly, and the fact that someone would shoot up a pizza parlour cus some dude on the internet told them it was a pedo ring makes me think that people would go nuts, I for one would make sure my doors were locked.

 

Yup cause they are ignorant and don't realize the EC actually has this power, and has had it for like 200+ years.

Anyway. I didn't vote for Trump or anything but I don't understand how people actually think he's stupid. The man played the media, won the election against all odds, and he's a billionaire with an excellent understanding of economics. I'm sorry to break it to the people that think he's a dumb*** but he's more intelligent than anyone on these forums. The notion that the presidency will be taken away from him because electors will "vote their conscience" is nothing more than a delusional thought that stems from disbelief and deep butthurt. The election is over... We have a system of voting and he was elected fairly. Donald J Trump will be president of the United States for the next four to eight years unless he is impeached or assassinated. I find it funny though that the "tolerant" left are sending these electors death threats and such...

Don't get me wrong, I would gladly do without Trump's twitter feed but the guy is going to be our president and people might as well accept that fact.
