Introduction: My nickname is Pseudo, but I currently use the name PseudoGod; you can realistically call me whatever you like, though. My real name is REDACTED, however. I have been a long-time player of the Meepcraft Server, experiencing not only "Old Meep" but the reset and now the Gamma revitalization. I like Economics and use it to get to where I am in Meepcraft right now. I have interest in Mathematics, notably statistics.

I joined Meepcraft November 17, 2012, although I did not play much in the first few months of joining the server. In March of 2013, I began to play and get myself into the Meepcraft community.

I thank the people of Meepcraft for helping me get into the community in 2013 and then establishing myself in late 2015 to 2016.

Why should you be Helper? 1) Dedication- I consider myself to be very dedicated to the Meepcraft server; but what is dedication? To me, Dedication is the ability to commit. I have played through the first reset (July 2013), and then the Second Release of Meepcraft (August 2016), despite it being a soft reset.

2) Participation- In Global, Message, Nation Chat- Whatever have you, I do talk to the community quite often. I've tried to get myself into conversation and contribute some alternate opinions and views on topics which arise in global. In addition to communication, I like to host player-driven events. I believe that these events make the community closer and allow new players to feel welcome on the Meepcraft server.

3) Talents and Specialization- I am very skilled in the inner workings of economies and know how to balance them fairly. This helps improve the economy through a more strong meeble foundation; I have worked with staff such as CluelessKlutz and Klutchdecals in order to balance the economy, which is one of the ways I would be able to work with the team. Furthermore, I am able to answer technical issues in chat and through /tpa. I have experience in some difficult redstoning, ASTools, Towny Commands, etc. This, in my opinion, comes from playing the game; Skills are acquired through application, therefore, my specialties prove my dedication to the server.

4) Leadership roles- In Alphabeta, I ran the Pseudo Corporation, a series of 21 /pwarps. As with many corporations, it takes time and effort to make it compete against others. With my strategies and marketing in place, I was able to turn huge profits while making items fairly priced for more players. In Gamma, I own the nation of Roman Empire. In terms of towny, I co-own the most profitable town in meepcraft, Rome. As I am writing this, I also have plans to move the PseudoCorp empire into the Gamma Economy.

5) Work Ethic- As described before, making the /pwarp conglomerate as successful as it was took a huge amount of time and effort to put into practice, and it will take considerable time and effort in moving it to Gamma. I am able to work to accomplish what needs to be done, be it physical or through the means of a Computer. Currently, I am taking a few AP classes (Calc. AB, Lang and Comp, and Chemistry), which I find time to balance between life and this server.

What are your weaknesses? 1) Immaturity- This is the primary weakness I have, and will definitely be mentioned within this application. What the term basically entails, is that I would have gone to extreme lengths in conversations and would not have provided constructive communication, but instead slander those I talk to. I will continue to work on this front even in the event of a denial.

2) Inexperience in the staff team- I have never truly been staff on this server or on any staff team. Becoming staff here would be my first real role as a member of the internal workings of any Minecraft server.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I'll work very hard to make Meepcraft the best.

I feel like Pseudo has improved from his last application a lot. Yes, he still has immature sides, but I think we should give him a chance to prove himself to the community. As I worked with him privately, I saw how helpful he can be and his qualifying sides of himself. However, I'm worried that he'll let too many things go , seeing that he turns on pvp with no warnings.

I do stress that I have not turned on PvP without warning the person, at minimal in /msg, 3 times or more. The only times I have done so were after they were warned WITH warnings and signs to supplement those. However, thank you for the constructive feedback.

 

Less toxic, more immature. You have been doing much better from what I have seen. Youve still got a bit of work that really needs to be smoothed out, I think you still need time, but honestly you've improved a bit and Im kind of inpressed.

I'm not trying to limit your possibilities here, but I was working on my shop when someone shot me off of the roof at /pwarp market. Pvp was turned on without me knowing. Also, you were advertising to get people to tp to ypur town spawn, which was loaded with traps with full intentions of killing people. I know you had warnings in your town board, but still. I thought that was just silly.

Anyway, if you refrain from doing those stuff I think you can become a great helper.

- Just yesterday you were talking about how much you hated people, then you apply for staff. Just doesn't add up.

- You are mean, constant inappropriate remarks toward players in global chat. Also when I made a casino, you told me that you were going to make a casino, just to try to run mine out of business.

- Insanely greedy and unhelpful , You only help when you get something out of it.


You drive players away from the server, and possess the total opposite qualities of a staff member and still expect that you are given the rank. Smh -1

Okay, after reviewing my own and others thoughts of you, I have come to change my mind.
Your knowledge of economics would be a valuable addition to the team, as well as your good activity.

The only concerns I have are all your businesses, how will you find time for staff work with all of them to run? I'm hoping your immaturity, attitude problems and toxicity will cease if you become a staff member.

As a friend and confidant of Pseudo, this is a difficult vote for me to give, and despite the fact that it will seem biased, I find it necessary to put my comments out there.

Pseudo has multiple times been immature and downright toxic, yet I believe in the time he's been here he has grown a lot. He will need to be more patient as staff and understand that our playerbase consists of many people who are not mature enough to understand certain things. I know that he can do this, but he hasn't shown it and therefore I understand his somewhat negative reputation for this in shout. Before I delve into my full opinion, I'll respond to some concerns that others have had here.

Except he does not, our town spawn is off limits to anyone, and the staff have reinforced our decision. It is completely illegal to go there without permission, and this has been countless times reiterated by us (seemingly to no avail). Pseudo and I gave a plethora of warnings - in shout, of all places.

PvP was turned on because of an unrelated incident that Pseudo had with another person who was annoying him. Unfortunately, we cannot always warn others before turning it on (and this player received five or six warnings from Pseudo to leave). I never saw him advertise - and I was on when you were - he deliberately tells people that they WILL be killed. There are no traps, just strict laws on teleporting there (which involve death to anyone we don't explicitly allow).

That being said, I feel like it's important for Pseudo to above all work on lashing out at people, which he does many times and I try to dissuade him in town chat. Despite this, he is well atop the majority of the server in terms of economic knowledge, and his business prove that he is very capable and responsible. He has diligently worked for all of his possessions.

I fully believe that he deserves an interview, at least. If his answers are not sufficient, then he will be rightfully denied. But I would say that it is time to at least speak to him - at his best, he is a well-oiled and highly intelligent machine, capable of doing anything on Meep. How else has he amassed the gigantic empire which leads millions over baltop?+1

I do see you talk in global a little, as you've stated in your application you speak in nation chat a lot, but not everyone can hear you, speak up for everyone

Don't make me search my logs for evidence. You were doing it. Instead of closing the town, you left it open. As for the pvp turning on, you could've turned on pvp for just one plot not the whole town. Also, it's funny how you are the one who shot me... Lol
