I don't "cheat", I learn.

Cheating is the act of taking someone else's work and taking credit for it, much like plagiarism. You don't get anything out of cheating, because the improved grades you might get on homework will never make up for poor test scores associated with cheating. That being said, the type of "good cheating" described here isn't really cheating at all. If the intent was to correct the fundamental mistakes you made, such as 6 factorial is 6*5*3*2*1 and not just a very loud six, or to see a different approach to solving a problem, then it's really more like tutoring rather than cheating. In higher level math and science courses, this is actually encouraged as many times, multiple answers to the equation could all be correct, but since they were obtained in different ways, they appear different.

 

She is learning it in a traditional way, just not from the teacher or textbook. She's essentially using her friend's homework as a textbook, and sometimes her friends as teachers. It isn't really cheating...

 

ok i know this isn't about cheating but it's related to the topic of school so here we go
