I think we should be able to dice against the server. Would mean that the rare few people that do dice could constantly dice (against the server) when others aren't on. So instead of "/dice me" spam in chat, people can just do it against the server

    e.g /dice server 100 3 total 100000
Uses the same dice command that already exists, but allows the 'server' or whatever name that is chosen, to be selected as an alternative to a player. If I won, i'd get my 100k back and a 100k from the server. If the server one, the server would take my 100k and it would be gone from the eco, great fun!

    I don't see why not..

This simply has the potential of adding far too many meebles to an economy we are trying to keep stable. -1.

I think this would be cool, but there should be like a limit to how much you can dice.

Actually there would be away to keep the economy stable, every day or two days 100k is added to a sort of pool, if you win the dice, cash is taken out of the pool, if you lose your cash is taken and put into the pool. This way the economy would be stable, we could also put a 20k max dice to keep people from draining the entire pool out to fast.

Why is this everyones mindset. It also 'has the potential' to take away meebles from the economy aswell - since funnily enough, you don't win every time you dice.
And say someone does get lucky, theres nothing wrong with that. 100k more in the eco, that will come by the end of tommorrow with me using jobs, so i don't see the problem.

I'm not too scared of adding Meebles to the economy as a negative for this. I just don't think this is needed, because we already have the slot machines at /warp bank.

Those literally have like a 5% chance of winning though.

I'm not saying those slots are perfectly fine, but I think these slots could be adjusted to serve as this, which would give the slots at spawn a purpose.

For all you people concerned about it "not helping the economy," what if we set the chances of winning to 40 or 45%?

Anyone who plays those deserves to lose. The odds of winning even melons are terrible, let alone more than what you bet

Though great idea, it would make the amount of meebles on the server skyrocket. Who doesn't gamble once in a while?

The point of gambling is to test your luck on making more money off of somebody else. I'm sorry to say the server isn't a somebody. But again, it is a good idea because of the fact that it wouldn't put pressure on other people's balance. Not that many people have the money to upkeep a casino that players might win 100k off! Not even I have 100k yet xD

But with enough luck and will to gamble, the amount of meebles will go up on the server making EVERYTHING more expensive for the players without the confidence to gamble and/or dont have the money to.

On the other side of the meeble, if close to everyone gambles, with the average of 1:9 or something along the lines of that, the amount of meebles will go down, making the economy become cheaper, and giving the people that dont gamble an unfair advantage. Though this is unlikely to happen.

Also the point of this looks quite boring, just typing something in chat while having a high chance of blowing all your cash. Its funner to walk into a casino, rich n' famous, and test your luck on different types of casinos, big or small, pretty or poor, or having a 1:2 chance to double your money, or paying 100 meebles for a 1:9999 chance of winning a lottery!

Yours, (there are more cons than pros),

But won't it make the amount of money in the server decrease as well? You have a 49.5% chance of winning (introducing meebles into the server), 49.5% chance of losing (taking money out of the economy) and a 1% chance of a tie, which doesn't do anything. Theoretically, the amount of meebles introduced should be equal to the amount removed, right?

It depends if the chances of winning/losing/drawing meet that criteria...

But...it's a random number generator--/dice by default follows those criteria...

    Oh... I didn't know this.

Even though that may be true, statistics are never correct...

    ...bad luck or good.

This is a risky move. That's all I'm going to say.
