    i think we should add another teller into the bank which lets us transfer meebles over to alpha or gamma without having to wait for Klutch or someone to respond, this will help meep by stopping the spam of trading alpha/beta to gamma meebles (1:#) and the exchange should stick to 1:50 so it doesnt get mixed up, and maybe stop or report those who go lower than that of what was said of the exchange rate? a lot of gamma towns don't have taxes, and many alpha + beta towns are falling due to not being able to get the money for it. some towns even fell during the update.

    Reporting people who exchange for lower than 1:50? Maybe we should also report players who sell diamonds for less than 900?

    Player-driven economies (including meeble exchanges) should be encouraged.

    its just klutch has the exchange rate at 1:50. diamonds are different because we can find them. if klutch has it at 1:50 i should think we respect his rule/idea

    also were talking meebles here, meebles are the thing running towns, building houses, im very sure it would be respectful for everyone to have the same amount of exchange as others

    Whether an item can be found or not is irrelevant. Staff also put the buy price for diamonds at 900, so tell me again, why shouldn't we respect their rule/idea?

    A player driven economy works best and is the most fun. It means that players trade something for something. It could be diamonds for iron. It could be green wool for red wool. It could be meebles for tools. And yes, it could also be meebles for meebles, in this case Gamma meebles for A/B meebles.

    I agree with oraleDK on this one.

    The thing is (and I might be wrong about it), that if Klutch makes a transfer, he removes the A/B Meebles from the game and spawns Gamma Meebles in. Setting a fixed exchange rate here makes sense. You don't want the new economy to be overflowed with money right away.

    On the other hand, if players do the exchanges, they just move around money. Player A gets A/B money, gives G money and player B gets G money, gives A/B money. Nothing has been removed nor spawned in. It's fine to do any rate and shouldn't be discouraged.

    Now the problem with a NPC doing the transfers at a certain rate is, that it would not be relevant really quick as the rate will slowly go down. You can see that already happening in game, where players are doing a 1:40 exchanges instead of the 1:50 Klutch was originally doing.

    Scince gamma is new, it's economy will inflate rapidly, this will cause it to inflate even more (pumping more money into the economy!) thus changing the value of gamma meebles so he will have to change the exchange rate constantly. If we don't care about inflation the just make the exchange rate total meebles in G Eco/total meebles in A/B meebles. It'll represent an appropriate value.

    Why are we worried about arbitrary numbers again. It doesn't matter if there are 50 meebles is gamma or 50 billion in gamma. What matters is whether or not there is enough things taking money out of the economy via taxes, purchasable perks, cosmetic items, expansions (I.e. Buying more land for your town). Pets are a great start to this, but the prices and reliability don't really add any incentive to buy them. Think about the rainbow sheep for a second. For 1.5million Meebles you could get one. Although it was a sign that you had lots of money, you could easily be blown up by a creeper, fall into terrarium, ect. and lose it. People simply didn't want to take that risk. Now, the recent EULA changes make it a perfect environment to offer cosmetic items and perks purchasable for Meebles as both are EULA compliant and encourage players to purchase meebles from the server shop.
    Tl;Dr It doesn't matter how many meebles are in gamma, just how many the economy takes out vs puts in

    It would be nearly impossible for staff to enforce a meeble trading ban, so -1 on that aspect. I'm not sure meebles should be infinitely transferable between both worlds in perpetuity, but if they are we would have to accept a non-scaleable rate because we would constantly have to change the exchange rate.

    Perhaps Gamma should not transfer to Alpha/Beta at a x50 rate.

    well, sticking back to the bank teller at spawn we could have a command that people put to show their transfer and we can click it or click the onme with the highest profit rate?

    so what im sayiong is the teller has a bunch of headsof the plkayer doing transfers, which will send an automated message to that person, so they can transfer either way
