How is this legal???

So, for those of you who don't know what this thread is about, A well known player in the community has been going around finding the pwarps of players who have left meep or are inactive, and getting smods to give him them, almost all of these players are not banned, they are not poor (because pwarp tax is down atm) they are not abandoned pwarps in the wild, these are pwarps of players whos shops are relatively well used, who have millions in both town and bal, who payed tons for the pwarp name, is it right that a player can just take what someone else payed for, because that player doesn't play frequently? and the worst thing is, aparently the staff think so, because he has bee getting staff to do this....


ugh, please forgive my rant im just upset that many of my friends lost the pwarps they worked hard for...

If it wasn't legal staff wouldn't have give them to the player so.... Maybe they should've stayed active

 

The only people that I've done this for is for people who haven't been online in 60+ days (made sure their towns data is gone) and people who are banned. Not people who just don't play that often. Additionally, the warps that I moved were all in a dangerous area, so you can't even teleport to them. Hope that makes sense.

whats his name, /pwarp gold, I can go through the list of pwarps, several of them are from rich players with well stocked if not well used shops.

It should at least be added to the rules, If i leave meep I should expect that upon my return, I will have everything I had when I left, barring losing things to taxes and such, so If I have a town with 4+mil in my bank and 4+mil in my balance, shouldn't I be entitled to my pwarps and shops when I return?

 

Not charging people. It's basically like if a town falls, except the pwarp can't fall because there is no pwarp tax (it's broken atm). That being said, there is no real clear rule on this so I will discuss it with high staff and get back to ya.

 

Thats the thing, if you have a well used pwarp (take that one guys god shop that got moved) you can safely assume that you can leave for awhile and continue owning all your things, so if you ever feel like coming back you won't have to start from scratch.

 

Not if they have been inactive for 60+ days that's how it goes, they should know this already.

 

What kind of communist society is this, if a player purchases something they should be entitled to keep it until the day meepcraft falls (barring taxes).

 

If you leave and are gone for 60 days or longer, your account is wiped
your towny data, your balance, etc, it helps clear the eco of people who don't play anymore or joined and never logged on again.
Pwarps SHOULD be lost because your balance is now lost. But because pwarp tax is broken, the pwarps just sit there forever and ever and ever.
No reason for that. May as well let someone use them.

/seen says they have money, there structures are all still there. ? doesn't being wiped mean all your money and houses and stuff gets deleted?

if i leave my house and dont come back (without paying mortgage or whatever the taxes are that old people pay for their house) does it make sense for the bank to allow someone else to loot it?

If the player found the pwarp in the wild by themselves, then by all means have at it.

Requesting for all pwarps that are owned by innactive players (60+ days) to be transfered to me.

 

If players lost their /balance after 60+ days then DennyWhite should lose his/her 20+ mil. They were last seen in HG. How long ago was that removed?

 

See, this is dumb. If the staff find a pwarp owned by some inactive player, delete it. ? dont give it to the first palyer to ask.

 

That is my thoughts exactly! In the future I believe for it to be removed or let the innactive player keep it until the plug-in gets fixed so when the next day comes they lose it.
