Pokémon Go!

My house and nearby area is swarming with weedles, pidgeys, and rattata. But on the bright side, I caught a Beedrill (after it escaped 5 times).

 

I mean, it's only caused a few crashes, one on the highway. But you know, someone witnessed a murder while using it. so, yeah, good app.

 

People just need to use common sense. If you don't get the app because of these incidents, then you shouldn't text either.

 

I never was a big pokemon fan but this app tho is getting addicting.

Hey on the bright side, people are going outside and exercising and moving around. And Nintendo literally made around 7.5B and increase their stock by 20%. So this app is probably one of the biggest things that happened to them since Super Mario Bros

In other words, they're not going to stop this game

 

I really really want it and am in New Zealand but my phone is just too old :/

useful tip : to reduce battery and data usage, download maps offline on the google maps app. pokémon go uses the google maps api to load map data, which means that if you download the offline maps of areas you’re commonly at in google maps, pokémon go doesn’t have to to constantly refresh when you load up the game again or reach that area. you’ll instantly be able to tell by how fast pokéstops load the information

in the google maps app:

settings > offline areas > add icon > swipe around to download the map of whatever area(s) you choose

Exactly! What needs to be done is make the outdoors enjoyable for these kids. Face it, half of them walk out, look around, walk right back in because there's nothing to do (to them). The current issues with it can be solved with a few technical changes: you should be unable to get encounters if you are traveling over 15 MPH, and initiates a 10 minute cool down on all encounters (so people can't play at stoplights), as well as move Pokéstops to very open, public areas (to prevent the robberies).

 

I live in the boundaries for a gym and a pokestop. Gg ez game.

I have 91 Pokemon

still haven't beaten a gym they're hard asf

highest cp Pokemon is a 389 jolteon (I powered it up)

I have 8 eggs that are never going to hatch because I'm too lazy to walk and the eggs won't hatch if you drive around (I tried it)
