Merging with other servers?

Just want opinions/thoughts.

 

only if we are the ones swallowing up their population, their ideas, and everything. deposing their staff and installing ours, making them essentially a client state of the meepcraft empire

Too much conflict, not enough profits, in my opinion. Obviously the old owners would want compensation through paypal since they own part of the server.

 

heres the thing, meepcrafts strongest quality, by far, is its sence of community, and however much people say it doesn't matter how the community votes on suggestions, etc etc, The staff do pay attention to our votes on things, even if we don't make the final decision. The biggest thing that cruelty gaming did, and illumini did, the last time meep merged, was destroy that community. There were "deal with it" bans, they would ban you for little things, and it destroyed meeps community. If we merge, we should merge with other servers that have a similar community. tell me if any of this makes sence its like, 4 or something im tired.

+1 The last time we did this it turned out great. (Sarcasm)

 

Its not that this is impossible to do, but it needs to be thoroughly thought out and the servers need to have seperate gamemodes, donations, and staff teams. However, they can be accessed through each partner server.

 

Guys, we've done this in the past. It was TERRIBLE, bottom line. Meep will never do it again.
