Is saying f u bannable

Many ppl disagree. I want an answer. Tons of staff say no. Some still ban.

if you are actually saying the full thing yes it is

but you have to realize that the rules say, at the very bottom

This rules list cannot possibly hope to cover all instances of behavior that is detrimental to the servers or community, thus the MeepCraft Staff reserves the right to warn, kick, or ban players deemed to be detrimental as well as the right to form new rules when needed.

^^ which means that they can change it anytime, they have full jurisdiction

There may have been events and/or comments made before saying "f u" that contributed to this. "f u" should not be bannable by itself, but if there are comments made before that are also similar, it is okay to get banned for it.

 

We are looking into this.

Similar to what Photoave said it depends. If you're using "f u all" in a disparative and proviking manner, or repeatedly spamming it then it may be bannable; although if you're going to be banned for something you should've been warned a few times before you were actually banned. I always taught people to warn multiple times before issuing such a small ban, unless it was absolutely necessary to remove someone from the server asap. You should've at least received a few warnings, if you continued then a kick or two, followed by a ban if necessary. Ideally a staff would just talk to you like a normal person, try to figure out why you said "f u all" and then play some games with you so you won't be in a bad mood or whatever.

 

I got a hour ban for it, then again i also called him other stuff...

The thing is, they haven't been enforcing it. They let people say "gtfo" "smd" "stfu" and stuff, but for some reason F U is bannable?

 

Only said it once or twice that day and separated by about 45min. Warned the first time but only by one person even though many others were online because they didn't deem it a swear

 

Yeah that seems unfair. It shouldn't go Warn -> Ban.

 

Maybe you had previous bans with language....?

But I mean it isn't saying the full thing so it should be fine, probably just a warning if it offends someone.
