You can't ignore it for ever

We only banned based off of proof that the player is hacking... A clear video.

It can be used as an advantage in a few different ways, and keeping the sneak on while doing other things is also something other people don't have

 

You can't see what clients people use when they cheat in KitPVP. They don't name what they're using, unless they're dumb enough to say so. You can name just what kind of cheat they use once they have finally let the cheats take control.

 

....... If it was that easy to see what clients people are using then hackers wouldnt even exist .... never heard of being able to see what clients are hacking.
Now my view on this issue is that the staff are doing as much as they can with this issue and sure theres lots of hackers but if there was no evidence needed some little kid could say this kids hacking (Players better then him in pvp) and then hed get banned when he wasnt even actually hacking. Thats why its required to have evidence.

 

I don't pvp, so this may be a dumb question. Are these hackers new players or people that have been around for a while? Is there a way to find out how many of them are brand new? If it's a good percentage of them, maybe you can put in a waiting period for pvp players. This won't affect any loyal customers, but if someone is logging on and immediately hacking, perhaps a waiting period of 24 hrs, 5 days, 10 days; whatever, may deter them and they'll go seek another server to show off their 'awesomeness'.

If it would be too hard to put a timer on each player, perhaps another contingency would prove useful. Off the top of my head, maybe a player has to belong to a town or complete a tutorial/quest that will remind them of banning should they choose to use hacks. Make them work to get to pvp and maybe most will give up before wasting everyone's time.

Not all new players hack. there's no reason to restrict an entire group of people because the minority is a pain in our sides.
Report the hackers, the hackers will be taken of pretty damn quickly.

 

Yah it honestly is a waste of time because to be honest hackers play on a server for 20 minutes and have fun but then they never join that server ever again. With meepcrafts 3mb video limit its not worth it to try because by the time you get back from uploading the video they have left and never return.

we really do need pvp-ers to be pvp mods. everytime it gets proposed the only people who don't want it don't pvp regularly.

I always try my beef to record hackers and get them banned. However I do agree, there is so many hackers in Kitpvp

the thing with recording is, on average a hacker keeps hacking until everyone leaves, then they leave, so you record, report, then wait however long it takes for it to get handled, and by that time you don't feel like pvp-ing or the hackers left.

Kitpvp should be removed anyhow as it brings no new players worth a damn.

Yes, but it offers a alternitive to the people who like pvping, but don't want to invest in god sets, if you're bad like me, or mediocre like many of my friends (not naming) then buying god sets for tons of money only to lose them to some good pvper is dumb.
