Yeah, because once they see how easy hacking on meep is there just gonna wait the 7 days to hack again. If they get permed and really do want to play again, they will make an appeal and actually change. @Kling

It was changed a very long time ago, because people might not understand MeepCraft's rules. However, I contest now, and then, that since when has a game (outside single player) outright allowed people to cheat.

 

Oh okay, because that's exactly how I see it aswell. They simply can not think that it would be allowed because I don't know of any online game that does allow cheating.

If people do want to argue for why it should be 7 day ban first we could counter that with a holo at the spawn of kitpvp with "Cheating will result with Permanent Ban" or something.

Let's just name every hack in the book to sound smart

 

Lets all take a step back here. There are about 40 Staff Members, About 30 staff members that can Ban/ Kick people and about 25 that are not constantly swamped with work. That leaves 25 staff total, leaving about maybe 0-10(Max) staff members online on a regular basis and lets say 100 players online, making the ratio 10:100. With new players joining and other staff constantly busy, there main attention is going to be the main server (Spawn, Towns,ect.) not a mini-game that in all reality wont effect your in-game life. This being said, staff will still try to Catch hackers, which I do recall @Cooleysworld, going after a hacker earlier today. Staff tries there best, and works their hardest, If you want to make a difference and catch hackers, then I suggest applying for staff.

 

Honestly, 25 staff for 100 players is already high compared to most other servers, as many other servers do fine with more players and less staff. Additionally, hackers in KitPVP most definitely do affect gameplay--I don't know what you were trying to say there. These days staff don't even need to record substantial proof before banning, so the process should (theoretically) be quick and easy, but it isn't--even for the most blatant hackers.

 

Are you serious? You don't even know what 20cps is do you? It's 20 clicks per second and is actually achievable (seen it before) 7 block reaction? What the hell is that? Looking at someone who's 7 blocks away? I do that all the time, doesn't mean its hacks. Please stop pretending like you know stuff, you make me want to kill myself.

 

Im pretty sure he meant 7 block reach as in meaning they can hit you from 7 blocks away and if you can do that you should be banned for hacking/modding your account.

I see why fasehead is impatient with this. Its called frustration,everyone gets it. I agree that there should only have to be 1 video of hacking that cclearly shows the hacks. Not 3 that does tkae more time and effort. I have seen players banned for hacking that wasnt even hacking. @BaM_Nitro

 

I can hit people from 7 blocks away, and it also depends what fov you're on. On quake pro, it looks like you get hit form 7000 blocks away. 7 blocking people isn't very hard.

 

What I propose is risky. To combat aimbot, have a bunch of entities 5 blocks above the player. They will be invisible, and the hackers will lock onto it. For a killaura, simply set a maximum click rate 1 below the killaura default. Scan what minecraft version players are on when they join kit pvp. Anything other than optifine, shaders mod, or any approved mod/version,autoban. Now, if a player is using a new version of optifine, then unbanned. The program searches for keywords like optifine, shader, minecraft 1.9, etc. Will add more.

 

No. You don't know how easy it is to get false banned by these plugins. They get in your way when you turn and are the most cancerous things to fight with

just check your list of players like klutchdecals once told me and you can see what client people are using on the server. Get rid of all of the non mc clients that could pose a threat because even if they are not in kit they are probably xraying or somethin in towns and wild. IV caught a few peeps doin that

why isn't togglesprint allowed? its essentially the same thing as holding down your sprint key, and it saves your one of your fingers (typically your little finger) that could be used for something like strafing and/or hotkeying

 

You can set kill aura/aim bot to not attack invisible entities it's not exactly hard.

What if a player has been messing around in single player with the lucky blocks mod they then log into meep and boom banned because they're on a modified system?
