Rethink Meep

Hate to burst your bubble but Minecraft in general is dying... Other servers suffer too... Its hard to bring in new players into Meepcraft when there's not many being brought into Minecraft lol...

Most older players (like many of them on Meep) have 'chosen' this server. Whenever y'all see a "MINIGAMES! FACTIONS! play now blah.blahblah.blah" when have you ever tried it? I mean other servers are also probably having this conversation as well "okay, we need to recruit more people to our server from other servers by doing ____" and is it going to pull other servers away? Maybe some but its a cycle of losing players and gaining players. It always has been. Now there's just less players.

Edit: Didn't vote; I'm not necessarily for a -1 here, I just don't want to go through all this for an unchanged result. Some of the things (i.e Trailer and maybe the earnable titles) would be a reasonable investment... If we're gonna make a new spawn, however, let our Architects do it. AndrewRobins already showed his skills at that and Draqq is an amazing builder and is definitely capable.

Look, it's not just us falling. But, we have a lot more problems than you stated.

1.) Fix the economy

2.) Towny...God help towny

3.) Ranks and perks are so screwed up now and we need to wait till they get fixed.

4.) Alot of our mini games dont even work.

 

I just putting this out there, all the other large servers are dropping too, mineplex went from like, 40k daily to like, 10k on weekends, hypixel isn't close to its former glory, and ubermc is also dropping.

Here's an issue, meep probably has a low advertising budget, every time a change in how much money meep receives (EULA) I have noticed a decline in new players. It's not even keeping new players on meep, it's getting them there.

 

Don't worry everyone, when i win the 200 million dollar lottery ill buy 100 thousand dollars worth of klutch heads.

 

Yup. Meep only needs like 2 minigames, possibly have a vote for the most popular.

It should only need more is it has AT LEAST 400+ a day.


New trailer would be epic.
Downsizing size of spawn, etc would be great idea. When I got back on meep it was v hard to find my way, had no clue. Maybe because of where I spawned which is for donors? Idk lol.
No one likes being at spawn lol

1. KitPvP isn't a minigame 2. CTF is a blast when there are people

 

Infected, boomo, and TnT run should come back.

 

ctf is fun, but its boring, generic, and cookie cutter. it wont bring more people in or keep people here.

@Muunkee infected, boomo are here, tnt run is replacing spleef im pretty sure (your the staff person though so you can probably just ask a dev)

 

I know infected and boomo are here and I know tnt run should be coming back

So you want CTF, Infected, Boomo, TNT Run and Halo. Doesn't this go against the idea of having less mini games?

We totally should have a Towny war...

 

IMO we need halo, infected, boomo, and i guess tnt run. but really just those three. I know a few dozen people who joined only for those games, and then stayed after trying the towny experience. also, fuzzlr doesn't want towny war as it will fracture the community, and community is one of the few things meep has down pat.

 

CTF isn't as fun or as populated anymore, spleef needs a removal.
Infected, boomo, and halo are the most populated games rn and tntrun is wanted back by many people, soo.

 

IDK I think we go with the Labour government (big fan) http://www.alp.org.au/ and loss more money the first 4 years to make them in the next 10.
I agree with most things, removing ts channels no because I need to run away from a fair few people cough cough not naming names little.
anyway meep needs more players but it's probably not pull a labour party and your 10 year budget plan could work out.
