    In my opinion: Yes.

We're headed into the economic black hole that gave rise to Hitler, and other totalitarian dictators throughout the years: Debt. Horrific, mind numbing amounts of debt.
We have social problems, as icing on the cake.
This isn't going to be a race war though.
    It's going to be political.
    Conservative vs. Liberal.
    The two groups can't cooperate.
    They can't see eye-to-eye.
    They can't get anything done.
    They hate each other's guts.

I think we might see one of the bloodiest conflicts in human history unless things turn around.

P.S. I'm really tired. Just so you know. And bored.

    No???

The economy was way worse a few years ago.
Keep in mind unlike Germany, we have the resources to pay off our debt. Germany's economy was inflated and they dealt the burden of paying off a world war that they were blamed for (which wasn't necessarily only their fault).
Social problems yes here, but only in a few issues. Probably just immigration tbh, but definitely not enough to give raise to a new Hitler.
Liberal vs conservative was basically how our country operated for over 100 years. Political competition is how we, as well as many other countries, have been surviving.

We are nothing like Germany in the 1930's.

I read the last sentence after writing all this, so please make sure you get enough sleep. :)

Disagreement alone is not what leads to civil war. The main culprit is misery.
Korea, Russia, France and America all went to civil war because of misery. What misery have we today? Sure, disagreement abounds, but when was the last time you had to steal so you didn't starve to death. Or had your child taken from you to work as a slave? We are far from another civil war.

    True, but...>
I'm not sure we do. It would take every single American paying something like $50,000 to pay it off.
Yeah, and we haven't even tried to pay our debt.
Gun control is probably the most likely to start a war (as many will recognize it as their last chance to resist). Immigration probably won't.

Another scenario is that it happens gradually (kinda like we're seeing Hillary supporters attack Trump supporters, and vice versa)
We owe more money that most people can imagine to a foreign power that doesn't really like us. Kinda similar, although our economy is doing a lot better.
    Lol finals week :p.

not physically, sorry. The trump supporters are (as far as i know) the only ones who beat the hell out of people because they disagree.

    Lol that sucks

In those particular instances I believe it was Bernie supporters, and people with unknown affiliations (though obviously not Trump supporters, and likely not Cruz or Kasich supporters either). And yes, it was the Bernie supporters and the people with unknown affiliations being violent.

no no no no no no no. The American situation is n o t h i n g like the german one.

Let me teach you a little bit of history. During the Weimar Republic (the government after WW1) hyper inflation caused by many factors, including the french and flemish invading the Ruhr and halting all production. The government didn't have enough money to function and pay back the reperations (compensation to the other countries) which to the UK was only finished paying by 2010. So what they decided to do was simply print more money. Problem solved right? Wrong. In the year 1920 1 dollar was worth 50 marks (German currency at that time) but by 1923 (the year the Ruhr was overtaken) 1 dollar was the equivalent of 4,200,000,000,000 marks. Over 6 million people were out of a job. Farmers wouldn't sell their crops. People were starving. There are a few documented case of people carrying a wheelbarrow full of money in order to try and exchange it for food, leaving it somewhere and people would leave the money and steal the wheelbarrow. Hitlers motto later on (once he got out of jail after the Munich Putsch from the same year) was "Arbeit und Brot" work and bread. That's how desperate the situation was, people didn't want fancy luxuries they wanted bread to fill their empty stomachs and work so they didn't have to be homeless.

So don't even think about comparing the current American situation to the German one of the 1920's and 1930's until people are starving in the streets and money holds no value.

    Little bit of evidence:

That's stacks of marks they're using as toys. Millions of worthless money.

    How they'd transport money

I hope your ignorance has now been corrected :)

I live in the San Jose area and I remember this
A couple kids got suspended/expelled from my school after the rally because they were beating up basically anyone who wasn't a cisgender, straight, white person.
I was hit a few times, but nothing too serious. (I have a bruise on my arm, leg, and chest)
I wanted to hang out with my friends at a park across from the convention center that the rally took place
We obviously didn't go because of the rally.
A friend of mine said that their parents went, and their car was in pretty bad shape (it was bad to begin with)

Back to the original subject though,
I don't think a few protests will cause a civil war.
We've had protests before, and much worse things have happened to America.
