Okay well to start things off the sell option in the warp shop is used so items can not fall below a certain point of value.

    Why should buy be removed?

Removing the buy option will remove the the servers set value on items which is something that will benifit this small Eco sever greatly. If there is no warp shop to buy from it will increase player to player purchases, that includes vshop and player chest shops. It may sound biased that I am the one making this thread since I own the largest active shop on the server but if you think about it everyone is to benifit from items costing more.

The curent baltopers ( most of whom buy their supplies and do not go to the wild and gain themselves) have to spend very little due to the sanctions the buy option has put on most all items. They may not actually buy the items from the warp shop because other players sell for cheaper to beat the server prices but if there was no buy option than players would have a more free market to raise prices as they wish.

I'm sure here is more that I can add but I am a much better speaker than writer. Still I hope the suggestion I wrote, no matter how sloppy, can get the point out and if not I am willing to explain further on ts.

Edit: ps the warp shop breaks Eula

ikr when I asked higher staff they claimed it didn't break it since you could ask anyone to buy it for you. but yes it 100% does
but -1 on this because where else would you get the custom spawners, bedrock, spawn eggs, etc

ehh... i haven't seen your other suggestons but i think they should keep the buyable price on some things, just not common things like wood, ores, stones, and necesities.

    -1

Having only player to player transactions won't and will never work, the only players who benefit from such things are from the already rich.

No the players who benifit are the players who go mining for supplies and sell to the rich who have the money not to work for the supplies which causes flow of money.

Edit: example with warp shop. Player A with 10 million meebles wants to buy a god set. It is currently 10k per piece ( not sure if actually is haven't checked) which is 40k. But player B sells God sets for 30k for the set to beat out the unlimited warp shop prices. To conclude the first scenario player B makes 30k in total.

Example without warp shop. Player A with 10 million meebles wants to buy a godset. Player B has no unlimited supply compitetion from the warp shop so the player can choose to sell it anywhere from 40-100k due to Player A having no choice but to buy from a player since the unlimited supply warp shop buy price was removed. To conclude Player B who works to make godsets for a living makes anywhere from 40-100k from the rich player causing money to flow in the Eco.

    I'm at a +/- on this one

    I see this point:
However, won't this just make inflation worse?

    I also see this:
In all honesty, the rich players don't use the shop to buy many items.

Unless I am sorely mistaken, the option to sell would still be available, meaning players could still make the same profits from mining.

Take the diamond market, for example. Recently, this market has dramatically increased because of the removal of /fix. The removal of the buy ability takes away the "roof price." This can be good or bad, depending on which side of the deal you're on.
