Can someone help me i have no idea what I'm doing

Ok I found a medic but I have no clue how to play. Where are all the points I'm supposed to defend like it says and how do I not die to a guy running around with a sword

 

You have to collect all the dank hats and gain the respect of almighty gaben.

 

Ok so I started playing medic but my darts don't heal my teammates

 

Syringe guns don't heal teammates, your medigun does. The only weapon that heals teammates with darts is the Crusader's Crossbow.

I would totally put a whole ton of TF2 quotes here, but I'm too lazy and its 4:43 AM.

I always prefer the engineer. You get the wrangler and make a tier three turret where you cannot be shot but you can shoot (behind a window, etc) and just start hosing down the land in front of you. If you aren't a builder type, try out the spy, very annoying class but fun to use if you figure out what you are doing lol.

 

people keep killing my turrets and when i disguise people always figure me out

 

Learn effective sentry placement. Learn effective placement of all your buildings, in fact.

As spy, when you disguise as an enemy player, act like you're one of them. Face your own team, run backwards, etc. You'll be much harder to detect that way.

 

To add on to the spy part, you can only run slower than the Spy. If you disguise as a Scout or Medic (faster than the other 7 classes) you will only run as fast a a spy, and make yourself really obvious. Also, nervously glancing at teammates is a giveaway that you're a spy.

 

Is tf2 available for steam?

 

i would try the heavy, and get a friend on and have him be ur medic

You don't... you need to set up a Steam account to add friends...

The only thing you need to spend money on is hats with cool effects that cost over $100. If you want to earn more respect than an actual veteran.

 

I emailed steam, they told me I had to spend $5 in the shop before my account was deemed secure and not a "dummy" account

Weird, once I joined Steam and got TF2, they never told me anything about having to spend money.

There's two different players in the game. They're called "Free-to-Plays" (F2Ps) and "Pay-to-Plays" (P2Ps). The F2P's are generally made fun of for having really bad items and not having any good cosmetics. P2P's purchase Steam Cards, which they can use to buy items in the Mann Store and on the market.

I don't know why Steam emailed you about having to spend money. Don't listen to their advice. There is no need to spend money on TF2 unless you really want to. If you have any questions, just ask me in a private convo.
