hey! As you guys know, I'm 13, and like Range Rovers. Because new they're 130k, I need a way to buy a used one. To pay for my dad to drive me to one and me to drive back would cost a lot, on top of the 13k or so for a used one. So, I need to know a way to make the amounts stated above in ways for the next 5 years that don't interfere with schooling, leaving enough so my parents don't hound me for blowing my money on a luxury car. Oh, and for those concerned about where I'd keep it, I have a 6 car driveway, and we only have 2 cars. So, plenty of space.

This is Canadian dollars, so don't go crazy. It's about 3,000-13,000US

If I work minimum wage 5 hours day for 60 days of summer, that's still just 3500$

Okay so...last time I checked a 13 year old cannot make 5-20k in one summer. Especially since your only 13, you legally cannot get a job.

Plus, your going to have to put enough money away to service the thing because they're so unreliable.

This is all USD just fyi

Okay so. Lets say you find a job that pays 10$ an hour (you'd be pretty lucky tbh) I've been working for two years with no formal education and the most I've made is 12.5$ and my brothers who have bachelors degrees make aboyt 16$

So 10 is a very reasonable number, you'd probably make a little bit less but lets just use this as a guide.

    10$/hr * 40 hrs a week (8hrs a day 5 days a week) is 400, subtract 20% for taxes and you'd be left with about 320 a week.

Per check would be about 640$

Assuming you have a three month summer (no idea how long yours really is.

Estimate about two checks a month so

1280*3= 3840$ that's how much money you made this summer, not including gas to and from work and other expenses.

I worked two full time jobs for three months and made 7950$.

I woke up at 3:45am did chores at home, took a shower and drove 20minutes to work and then started job 1 at 5:30am worked outside all day doing hard labor to turn around and got off at 2pm to drive down the road to work at Job 2 working from 2pm-10pm then taking another 20minutes home and go to bed. I did that Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

Tuesday and Wednesday I worked job 1 7am-4pm

and Saturday and Sunday I worked job 2 2pm-10pm and very often I worked job 1 as well at random hours throughout the mornings if there was things to do (typically there was).

So I worked on average 80 hours a week, yes I said week. That's what most people do bi-weekly

I'm not saying it's impossible to make 5,000 in one summer, but you need to be prepared to work you're ass off. Chances are you'd have no time for Minecraft.

You need to keep in mind the expense of working, clothes, lunches, and transportation. If you're working a job to buy a car there's no reason you're parents should be paying for your work clothes and lunches ect...

You can earn the money by going to school, getting an education, then a career.

Why buy a Range Rover now if you can't drive tell you are 15-16... I suggest you save up for the next 2-3 years. I am 16 I worked as a lifeguard for 20 hours a week for a span of a few months and I was able to buy a $2000 dollar computer. I am not saying that it isn't dueable... I am just saying if you work for the next three years and work I would bet you could make $10 grand in three years...

Though what I suggest you do is a few of the following:

1.) Open a lawn mowing business, I mow 10 of my neighbors lawn every week in the summer and I make $20 per lawn so $200 per week

2.) I don't exactly know what job you can get at 13... But I started my job at the pool making $8.50 a hour and now after pay raises I make $9.00

3.) Ask around your house if there is any chores needed done. Most parents like when you work to get something, and they try to help you out

4.) Myself have invested 2.5k in stocks and I recommend you do the research and invest in some not too risky stocks

5.) I am starting to go into Bitcoin mining but you need a large investment to do it, my dad and I are going 50/50 in investing 5k in it

6.) Don't play minecraft/don't ask a minecraft server filled with kids for money advice

I am going to say it will be almost impossible to make 20k in a single summer without a formal education... Though this is a better option. I swear no one will see the differnce, and it is the newest version!
But maybe my tips can help you or someone else

    Hello,

This might not be the advice you were looking for, but you should save all the money you can get towards your future. At this point in your life, a Range Rover might seem like everything, but it's not. After all, the value of a Range Rover will decrease over time, but something more permanent, like an education, will not. If you asked me, I'd say to get a job, and save the money towards college. You'll be able to better afford college, and therefore take out less student loans, the interest of which can be crippling later in life. From there, you can prioritize your expenses and hopefully buy a NEW Range Rover down the road. When so young, it's not wise to live so far beyond your means so as to buy a luxury car for yourself.

Besides, what are you going to DO with a Range Rover? It's a status symbol, even for adults, so I'll bet many of your friends will start looking at you like you epitomize the "spoiled rich kid" stereotype. And those who don't will simply ask you for favors and free stuff. That won't be fun.

And if you go to college, where will you PARK a Range Rover? Parking spaces in college cost a TON of money, you know. If you're not going to use it in college (believe me, you're not) why don't you just buy one after you get an education and a stable career? Besides, if you have a Range Rover, people will think you're a rich kid, and they'll say among themselves: "Hey, marshy_88 is a rich kid. His parents will buy him a new car just like that." Then they'll vandalize your car.

There really is no benefit to buying such a nice car so early in life.

Winning the lottery or robbing people. You'd have a higher chance robbing people.

Here's an easy trick that got me over 50 grand last summer :

oh wait, there isn't one. I got 300$ from part time jobs because I was only 14 and I wasn't able to be legally hired. It's good to dream but it's there's honestly no way a 13 year old with no formal education can make 5-20k over the course of a summer. Heck, laws will only let you work 8 hour days.

I work for an entertainment company based in Montreal Canada called "Monkland Village Productions"
    Here be weblink:
    http://monklandvillageproductions.com/
I work alongside the VP of the company Phil Leithead, who is also a family friend.
On average, the wage is 12$/hour which is pretty fair. Especially since he said that I will be working for a dew days every week of the summer. I'm not able to calculate my total earnings since I work for as many hours that I am needed which vary daily. But I have counted a minimum of 2,180$ if I work the same hours that I have worked previously.
