    When I was younger my dentist had a treasure box that I could pick whatever I wanted. They also made homemade cookies, then we could pick a dental kit in whatever color we wanted that came with a new tooth brush, floss, toothpaste, and little toys depending on if we were a girl or a boy for instance mine had bracelets and fake make up. Never balloons though I was and still am terrified of balloons.

    Completely random story, but my mom took my brother and I to this really cool hair salon. I was 6 and my brother was 4. It was specifically for kids, and you could play games while they did your hair. Afterwards, they would give you those really big Tootsie Pops as a treat.

    I've been to one of those where the chairs you sat in were actually race cars and they had all these different video games for you to play while they did your hair. It's such a easy way to get work done without a squirmy little kid lol

    My weirdest experience at the dentist was getting teeth pulled for braces and having to explain to the dentist I needed more pain killers because I weighed more than 100 lbs.

    Same thing happened when I broke my wrist.
    We ended up getting a scale and weighing myself to make sure I was 100 lbs. (I was, even though I don't look like it)

    I went to this eye doctor, and I got these eye drops, and I could barely see. They let me pick a toy from a hat, but my vision was blurred, so I picked a broken British taxi, which I still have today, 8 years later (looking at it right now)

    Well I mean, going to the dentist nowadays isn't bad for me because they are my home boys. The employees have to be friends with me and I have to be friends with them, you know? They're an interesting bunch. I guess it's better when it's your buddies.

    This isn't about the dentist but it's still strange. My school nurse hates everyone but the teachers. Basically the more pain you're in the more she doesn't like/care about you. For example, I broke my elbow she thought it wasn't actually broken, and said I was defiant for screaming at her when I was in major pain. Honestly I tried to stand up for myself but she only rolled her eyes - I even almost fainted in Chorus once and it happened to be 3pm, about the time school gets out. Right there she assumes that I'm trying to get out of school, in this case I'm not. Luckily my friends and I plan to talk to someone about this, haha.
