Spawn

A number of people have criticised the new spawn. As a build its is a cool build but its purpose is to be a hub for the server and represent what the server is about. Lets give staff and Fuzzlir heads up on what we want, don't give out but make positive suggestions as to what a good spawn should, eg a community space have and how that can be achived.

 

what I do not like about the current spawn:
To start off, my least favorite thing about the current spawn is that it doesn't give off a "Homey" vibe like the previous spawn. The last spawn was much bigger with multiple buildings and secrets to explore. Also, I liked the blocks that were used in the old spawn. Wood, stone, mushroom stem blocks, and the trees are what gave the old spawn a good vibe.

 

I have to agree with you. I preferred the last Spawns aesthetic and theme.

 

I agree, the last spawn had that homely feel to it. This spawn is a good one but I feel that the Sci-Fi theme just doesn't seem to fit this type of server. I could see the current spawn fitting a futuristic Roleplay server but not a economy server like Meepcraft. Though the main thing I am sad about is that my man cave at spawn is gone

 

I completely agree with both of these. I feel that a towny server like Meepcraft should be made of many buildings. The current spawn looks cool in far away pictures, but is hideous on the interior. If they are using the 2014 spawn (with modifications), I think it will satisfy most spawn critics, including myself.

 

No, they're using the 2012 spawn. It was very cozy and I just loved every bit of it. There was a Diamond Exchange for Donors only, a mob arena with Creepers On Ice on top of it, all mini-game warps were put in front of you, large staff statues on the far side, everything. It was just PERFECT!

Wait so we are a towny server and The airship gets a hub hmmmm? maybe give the two towny worlds the mains role

 

Tbh doesn't meet the servers current standard of beauty, but it's still better than the current one as far as user-friendliness goes...

 

It wasn't as massive as our previous spawns, but the ones I'm really wanting back are the 2012 and 2013 spawns. They were the best.

 

its just too big, remove the centerpeice in the sky, it will allow visibility to each of the big buildings, and yea a towny building is dire
