This is a group. A special group. The first one of its kind on Meepcraft. We only add certain people. It does not requier money or fame. All you need to do is hear us out. We have a vision for Meepcraft. We want it fixed. Do you want those old real economy days back? Where red wool did not cost 50k to buy? I do too. So let's make it happen. On another not, I love how people here have to find reasons to feel like they're fighting back against an oppressive, tyrannical staff when actually the staff is just as good as it's always been. I'm sure people complained about staffing as much in 2013 as they do now.

The problem isn't items costing too much, the problem is items costing too little...

 

Here is the thing... Meepcraft has an enormous economy and the ability for anyone to make a shop so long as they have a towny plot. this means that capitalism and competition can shine.
@anikin ultimate I have never seen a 50k piece of red wool unless you are talking about a casino and if you think this is overpriced, chances are someone else also has thought that and has a shop that sells wool pretty cheap. I do not think that we need to bring back the old economy because prices tend to rise as more and more money is added into the economy. The prices might look lower but you'd still be paying practically the same if you take in account inflation. Just a thought

 

I have to admit, the only thing I don't get about the group is their purpose (You know, that thing that you point out when you start a new group for something)

Also, what's this MeepCouncil thing? I feel like I missed it completely.

 

LOL. People on the Vshop put stuff for high prices in the hope that somebody will blindly type /buy 1 redwool 50000. This is not an issue. Like what @Summers said, the problem is items are too common and cheap, not that they're too expensive.

 

The problem is people don't know how when there is more of something, the price should go down. This doesn't happen and it bothers a LOT of people.

So why do people put wool for 50k? And most of you guys aren't getting my point. For now I have to go. However, tomorrow I will explain in detail what I mean because clearly I didn't make the picture big enough for you guys.

Our purpose it to bring balance to the economy, and to basically make Meep the way that 90% of the players want it to be. A fun time to hang out with friends, without being hated just because of your rank or something because for some reason that's still a thing. To have staff do their jobs and not be lazy. Not saying names, but a few staff member do this and we know it. Basically have the server working at full potential. Or at least to our (players) expected potential. Which for most people, it is not hitting right now.
