how to fix the economy

Ok so to fix the economy here is a list of my suggestions:
1: live updating prices of "commodies" (such as diamonds, gold, coal, foods, woods, ect...)
2: get rid of the stocks being irl, and make them be a part of "meep business" more on that later on"
3: the ability for player to start business, this would work by a player doing /buisiness new and it would cost 100k to start and a base tax of 10 per day and x amount per employee
4: meep buisiness stocks will update when people buy them like in the real economy
5: a daily %1 percent tax 1mil on people's balances
6: open for suggestion
7: random events such as prices rising/falling really fast to spark new item rushes
8: open for suggestion
9: open for suggestion
10: open for suggestion

The economy sucks because it's nearly impossible to create a strong, limited economy in a game with unlimited items. None of these suggestions would really fix this issue. -1

 

HUGE -1 (I'm assuming that you're talking about the old meepshop, instant sell and buy with changing prices)

This concept has already been tried and it failed, horribly. There is no point in adding it back in again. If it does happen, there will be way too much supply and demand, and the economy would get even worse, which is the exact opposite of what we want.

 

if the daily 1% tax is 1 million, literally no one will have any money. The richest people on the server will lose all of their money in less than a month.

Also, this suggestion is horrible. The old Meepshop we had wasn't that great, and there is no way we want it back.

I don't think you overlooked these suggestions and asked yourself How will this benefit the server? Will it work?

Wait why does the eco need fixing and some of these changes just won't work so -1

The economy isn't really that bad, it is possible (with effort) to make money, and there are more than enough ways to loose money.
The only reason I think people are complaining is because, compared to other servers where you can just set up a grinder and be set for life, it is harder to make money on meep. However, like with anything else, all it takes is effort and you can still make a solid income.

This is actually a pretty good idea. However, every good idea has it's flaws. First off, by reading this, I am assuming you know quite a bit on economics, like myself. I am a big fan of the subject but I feel like this plugin won't work well with people that don't know too much on the subject. There are also some flaws within the rules of this plugin, again that can be fixed.
Regardless, this would take very very long to make and I feel like not everyone would benifit from this because if someone isn't good at it, they're gonna lose all their money, and have no way of earning anything. If they can figure out a way to have this as a small thing but keep the easy way of earning money (now) then it would work well. I won't give a vote because I don't know what I should say but I hope this helps others make a conclusion.
