New Pokemon Games Releasing!

IF you didn't see the Nintendo Direct about Pokemon, well this explains everything. Personally, I don't like the names that much, but hey... We got new pokemon to catch right? Going to get Moon while my brother gets Sun :^)

I'm hyped, but also slightly worried. I really can't wait though! I'll be getting Moon, because I love astronomy and nighttime~

Volcanion is basically a Pokemon you'll only see in the Anime

 

Im super hyped for this new update. I love pokemon and this would be heaven for me. Ill probably get a new nintendo and both the new games.

 

These releasing on the NX? I am more of a mario person (hoping fot galaxy 3 or sunshine 2), but if they are coming for the nx, I'll look out for them. I am replacing my 3ds xl for a new 3ds today anyway.

 

Blue, Diamond, Sun and Moon are the best imo

 

I don't believe so. Pokemon is usually released on handheld systems

 

The NX is supposed to be a handheld on release, then a home console.

Along with this: Apparently rumor has it that this will be one HUGE pokemon game. Since it was codename Rainbow. (Yellow, red, blue, silver, gold, Black, white) Many think that you'll be able to go to other regions. Probably Unova (as said above) or Johto + Kanto. This is just rumor, however.

Also, it seems this region is based off of Hawaii, or some other tropical climate. Also, there are sketches of the player in a vehicle. I assume this will play like Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness, where you will drive to different locations of your region.

Sorry for triple post, but I think you might be able to collect almost all pokemon (if you have both games then you will get to collect them all) At the very end of the trailer he says: "It's all coming together!" What does this mean? I think you might be able to travel to different, if not, all the regions. Also the trailer is actually pretty amazing.

 

Agreed! I personally just grind getting level 100's for the fun of it. I am up to 97 different lvl 100 Pokemon in my copy of Omega Ruby with complete National Dex and 850+ Super Secret Base flags.

 

Remember that as a part of the 20th anniversary of Pokemon, they are selling Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow pretty cheap on the 3DS eshop! I would suggest taking a look at that as well

A lot of the regions are indeed islands. I wouldn't be surprised if the map has all the regions in a formation like that.

 

That's very true, Blu. I'm not sure how a single cartridge could contain all the regions with the Gen. VI graphics, though.

 

I agree, but I would like to see Unova in Gen VI / VII graphics

I'm really hyped to see what the starters will look like.
