if all the opinions given on here about it are ignorant/wrong why is whatever the hell the server is doing not working. i understand it´s complex but lol..

 

Could I get an idea of what's false?

I obtained minecraft soon after it became available. I played on many servers over the years. I just joined here recently, and I must say its one of the best servers Ive played on. I don't know what the old meep server was like, but im really enjoying it here.

The only thing I can say is wrong with this server is that there are way too many towns. Far too many. The majority of them have 10 residents or less and have been pretty much abandoned because of lack of interest. Its meaningless to have 200 players online when they are all spread out between so many towns. Best server I ever played on had about 30 towns and the top 5 towns in terms of size and number of votes was announced each week in-game. This helped give people the drive to build and push to be in that top 5. When I joined this server I had no idea what the best towns are. . .and it would take forever to visit them all.

 

I somewhat agree with this. Before, in the old days back in 2012, Meep had loads of people, even at non peak times there were 200-300 players on and I remember very clearly at peak times there were 500-700+. The community has shurnk massivly and Meep has taken a hit. However, I believe it can come back, but ONLY if the COMMUNITY AND STAFF WORK TOGETHER TO FIX IT. We can't have people complaining 24/7 that the staff is this the staff is that, the staff is a wonderful group of people who work at their best to do whatever they possibly can. Just remember they are people too and like to have a break every now and then. If the community actually starts to accept new people into the server, I always see people joining and never coming back because they were a citizen and didn't get any responses in that chat and also we can fix it by the admins are more careful towards what they are investing in, I believe, that within a short amount of time, we will shoot back up again, maybe a little, maybe a lot, but the whole point is we build a community together, and if this does somehow get to you and works, please don't break what we had again. Because that was a mixture of players and staff members. But we have to start now. Players, your job: accept more people into the community, I know a lot of you do but some people don't, please try to accept everyone no matter what, they deserve to at least try the place out, and staff, your job: try to invest in more ads and try to fix what's messed up in the server currently. Infected and HG have been down for way too long. FIX IT.

Not saying what we have now is bad, but we can improve it.

 

I see less than 20 people on at a time during EST 2-5 am hours, and it truly saddens me.

 

^ Point proven. Peak times, I see only 40 people on some days, on a good day, 250 tops, and that's hardly once a month.

 

When I'm on during the week, the player count is about 10-25 and chat is silent.
I know that some staff keep saying that meepcraft is making a comeback, yet the player count remains the same.
We need change, and drastic change, or one night I will log on and I will be the only person on meepcraft.

 

I agree! I think people have just been procrastinating to use the new vote system and I think that they should change it back to the old one. I'm too lazy to suggest it tho. quite sad...

 

I love meepcraft so much that i dontated!
