I know how to make time lapses and slow it down as well. I have a full license to sony vegas pro 13 and use paint.net for my graphics. All my videos are rendered in full HD. I think this role would fit me very well.

Not yet. I'm actually going to be nice about this, so please read.

If you want to be on the Media team, you basically need to be good at certain things, such as editing and having good recording software. You don't always need to make videos about Meepcraft, but you can make fan-made videos. Just practice on your videos and editing skills, and you'll be set.
Oh, and maturity also comes into play with this. Just to remind you.
