Chat Update!

This isn't the "Remove caps filter, etc." kind of thread. I mean this would actually help some people.
(Light and Lizz already know what I'm talking about) I've already seen this on another server and it's really awesome.

Hovering over someone's name would show their current balance, rank, and town current town they're in.
(Everywhere could be Alpha, but if you're in Beta world it would show their Beta town.) Here is a picture explaining 99% of what I'm talking about.


Replace Villian with Alpha and Beta town, like @Muunkee - Alexia said.

Clicking their name in chat will automatically put /msg in so you don't have to type their name in.
example:
[Shout] Lightspeedtitan: selling potions at /pwarp potions
*clicks Lightspeedtitan's name in chat*
/msg Lightspeedtitan <whatever you want to say>
*Bold part would automatically be put into your chat bar.*

This is actually a really clever idea. Love it! It should show both beta and alpha towns though.

 

instead of where it says your donor rank, just say
Alpha town:
Beta town:

Because the donor rank is literally listed on every chat you make, I don't see the need.

I think this would be a great idea if it was only shown when mouse is over their name, if it were to be shown like a faction on a factions server, it might be too long because some names are short (Paris) and others are long (Godrics Hollow). Maybe I am just misunderstanding the original idea, but I would like to see this central idea implemented. And yes, I like to type long replies.

Are you saying like if they're in beta, it only show only their beta town name? I don't understand the factions part because we don't have factions. (Like it would show their faction instead of the towns?) This does only show when you mouse over their username. Trust me when I say this, it support really town names / usernames.
Don't worry about long replies, I enjoy reading them and I also love to respond with long replies

 

The way factions servers usually works is, when you chat, it appears as
(Faction you're in) (Rank) (Username) (Message) So just swap out the faction name for the town you're in
