UHS Suggestions

I love the game! But it needs improvement...

-Don't add a plug-in that generates teams. There should be an option to be on a team, where you choose the people (Like in Skyblock), but make sure people have the option to survive alone.

- Reduce mobs. I know that a big part of UHS, but they should still be downsized...

-At least add basic commands. I was sad to find out I couldn't use simple commands like /tc.

-Starter kits for donors?

-Very slow regen, but still regen.

 

My thoughts:

1. I don't think this would affect anything. If people want to team they can do it anyway. Having a team plugin would just make it easier to team up.

2. Maybe just a tiny bit.

3. eh

4. If there are starter kits, make them as weak as possible while still making an impact.

5. Having health not regenerate is what makes Ultra Hardcore Survival Ultra Hardcore Survival.

 

we don't need anything to do with teams in my opinion it's fine as it is(when it comes to teaming)
it's more fun to play a game of hide and seek with your friend giving eachother coordinates

yes, mobs are a little crazy

pretty sure that commands will be added, it is just beta testing after all

i wouldn't make starter kits for ranked players with all the EULA stuff lately and all. maybe every 500 mob kills you get, you get a special kit coin. you can spend the coin to get a random kit? some basic stuff like 1 regen potion on spawn, or a stone sword. just little things that don't do much but can be useful sometimes

 

Do you mean UHC or is UHS some pacifistic version of it?

 

UHS is like UHC but it's more long term. that seems like the best way for me to explain it
you can try it by going into the MEEPCRAFT LOUNGE(ex-donator lounge) and going left from the spawn of the meeplounge

 

I would like to see no team plugin or anything involving teaming at all. People are already teaming up anyways without it, it would just bloat the server more than it needs to be.

I agree with adding basic commands but i think it should be commands that don't modify gameplay. Commands like /seen and /history would be nice to be able to use and they don't change gameplay in any way.

I would like to see a little less mobs too, and i think they should spawn more spread out. It seems like right now they spawn in large groups which is most likely causing lag.

As for these two i disagree. The point of this mode is to be very hard survival and adding things like this make it easier which defeats the purpose.

You do realize this is a new game mode to the server right? It even says beta before you join the world.
Dbl knows exactly what he wants to do with this game mode.

 

1. nah I think there should always be a chance for your friend to stab you in the back.
2. I think they already have decreased the mob count.
3.They realise these haven't been added yet they are still adding to it.
4-5. yeah these aren't happening. the sole purpose for UHS is for 0 perks and to do it all yourself hence the Ultimate Hardcode Survival.
6.Added adventure dungeons?
7.Spectator mode? Maybe a little op but I'm sure it would be fun watching people die and I'm sure the map is big enough for you to not know peoples locations etc.

 

I see I need to clarify. Do not add a plugin that forces people into a team. People can stab their friends in the back if they want, or play independently. You could add some team commands like a team chat or something, for those who want to team.

I also agree with you. You guys may not be understanding my original post.

I 100% understand that, just talking about what I think could make the game better if Dblo wants the public's opinion on it.

I undertand why you wouldn't want donator kits. But with 4, why not? I don't mean commands like /feed or /heal. I mean basic commands like seen or history or town chat. I was pretty upset I couldn't /gtoggle, it got annoying.

 

not on meepcraft UHS, but there are tons of servers that have the random-spawn thing(many that are like zombie apocalypse, some people know what i'm talking about i bet). it's fun trying to survive while looking for your friend. if you want to spawn next to them just keep suiciding til you get there.

 

The intention of this game was not to be loaded with a billion plugins. Sometimes simple is nice.

The point is: Don't trust anyone.

@KlutchDecals - Can you fasttrack some sort of minimap mod for approval?

I suggest MapWriter if it's up to date, but a minimap + waypoints would almost be necessary.

This is:
A: Too laggy
B: Too easy to get meat

 

You're gonna need them for XP farming (making enchants) and you're gonna need cows for bookshelves (also hunger is fast in this game mode)

 

Yeah, but it would make it more challenging because you have to save animals to breed.

 

....doesn't mean we can't suggest new things.
