Removing the auto-kicker for spam

After something like 5-6 messages or commands something warns you to please slow down or you may be kicked for spam.

This is all well and good when I'm trying to chat, however when I'm spamming commands like /smelt, /craft, etc, it's not only annoying but very unnecessary because I'm not even creating spam within the server, just spamming a command.

It'd be nice to Either,
A: Make it so it's only a warning when you do a chat command
B: Make the warning longer so I can do the command a lot of times and not be picked for it
C: Remove it altogether.

It's literally not spamming the server in any way. It kicks me when I'm just /smelt'ing all of the things in my hotbar.

Just because you are not spamming chat doesn't mean there is no negative effects. Spamming commands such as /fill and what-not still places strain on the servers. If they removed the automatic kick everyone would be spamming /fill, /craft, /smelt and similar commands; creating an absolute lag fest in most situations.

That's true, but allowing more commands to be sent before warning or kicking would fix it. Currently it happens way too fast. But, that is a very good point.

/fill lava 16 would also work, but that'd be easily abused. (And I think it was suggested before)

+1 to reducing the limit before the warning kicks in

 

Allowing more commands would still increase lag, I would suggest simply putting a 10 second cool down on commands so that they can't be spammed and you wouldn't be kicked.

Uh okay you have to get pretty excessive with the spamming for that auto-kicker to get you. -1.

 

She isn't spamming in chat, she's spamming in-game commands. She isn't causing any problems in the chat itself, it's just that the auto-kicker warns her for spam, but isn't actually spamming.

 

Not really. When I do /smelt or /craft it gets me.
I'll have 9 stacks of cacti in my hotbar, and I wanna smelt it all.
Push number key 1, /smelt, 2, /smelt, 3, /smelt, and so on.
It warns me between 5-7 messages and has kicked me many a time.

Why not just add /craft <item> <#> and /smelt all

 

That's great, luckily to your disappointment the world doesn't revolve around you. Spamming commands are horrible, you're suggestion will make the server lag even more than it does, and there are no viable reasons for this to implemented apart from making thing easier for people like you - which again much to your disappointment is not the most important thing in the world. Simply put, having less lag is more important than removing something that annoys you.

 

I had the same thought about that font :O

 

Somehow I think warning me twice and kicking me is more strain than just allowing me to do the command two more times than it is currently.

 

I don't know how to reply to the level of stupidity you show.
