Make Meep great again!

I don't know if there are any threads like this but I'm sure the title got your attention.

Do you have any ideas that could be implemented to make Meep better?

I see a fair bit of posts about people complaining and not much suggesting, if you all want this server to be one of the top servers again suggest things and that way if they get shot down you have something to complain about if you genuinely believe it will help benefit the server.

My main reason for being staff is to get the community together more by doing things with players, active in chat and be as helpful as possible. Since I have been staff I have noticed a decent amount of new players using the global chat and being in touch with the community more when I am online. So if you believe you have what it takes to be a staff member and have a set goal to help the server apply!

As well as the broken mini games and problems do remember we only have 1 tech working throughout the time of day they have who also has things to do in life so if there are players that's great at developing please make a tech app.

Also all of the small things like welcoming players to the server, helping a player in need and things like that is a nice gesture.

I want this server to be successful like the rest of you and hope that this thread will help you provide insight in something you can do to help.

Not to burst your bubble but meepcraft probably won't go past 250 players

We've been trying to make Meepcraft go back to 1,000 players since July 13th 2013 and it still hasn't happened

People move on. I mean, even when advertisements are put out in bulk we still can't keep the players

Nhjed I can understand where you are comming from, I mean the reason a lot of other servers are comsistantly getting more players is because they have these minigames and what not.

But also this is mainly a thread towards the people that do next to nothing and complain 24/7 instead of suggesting things to benifit the server. The title is fairly misleading for peoples attention, if we can get those things happening the player rate and community can get better.

I know for a fact Meep wont be like it use to back in the day simply because times has changed. But I strongly believe that we can at least increase the players to 400 in peak and have a better community. As I state over and over by the server being succesful its not archieving the player limit but to have a better community and increase the server pop by a fair bit and to do that we also need the help of @Fuzzlr

Yes he does do what he believes will benifit the server and does things behind closed doors for us all. He may be a busy person but connecting to the community more would help things.

 

We will need to make sure the stamps are waterproof.

 

I remember when I first played Meep a long time ago I got welcomed by multiple players and it was great because the other servers I had played on were not like that and would have a word or two in chat and people would be keen to help out.

Revive Alpha and our mini-games

 

Revive alpha? Like I have said before the only difference is the towns in them. A new player doesn't know the difference and tends to stick with the first town they are added too.

 

Add the survival world that many people have been advocating for

I don't know if anyone else felt this. But, a month after Beta was implemented, I found myself just not enjoying towny. It's like there was no loyalty to a town like in the old days; but, instead, everyone had different projects going on in different towns at once. Back when I joined in the old days, being a part of a certain town was something to be proud of and the community within a community (if you will). Back in early 2013, I used to come on and talk to my town everyday. We'd work together; we'd grow the town together; and we were all a team. That's when I had fun in MeepCraft, when people were dedicated to one town.

I know that will get hate, but I found one towny world fun. And, I realize why they added Beta, but it just ruined it for me.

 

I dont think you guys realize that if you put a new player under your wing and show them around, they'll stay.
