Meepcraft has needed new players because hey, who doesn't want more updates from the server because of its greater income. One thing I do when I play on new servers is like to be greeted by experienced players or be taught what goes on. I fell in love with meepcraft because of the towns part of the server. I got introduced to a very active town with nice players all of them were cits like me. We had a wonderful time nubbing up the town like most new cits do. I found out about the town because I had won 50k from voting recently and redlemon ( I don't know his full ign) was frequently begging for money because his town was about to crash. With this I donated money and he invited me in. I know I'm getting off topic but the point of this was that the people all met at a certain time of the day and we all played together. But then the town got really close to falling again. I got so upset that I bought 100k and put it in the town. That let it survived for 1 month. I did this 1 more time and then gave up. The town fell and I was devastated. I quit meep for 1 month. The other players quit completely. What I'm trying to say is we should lower down the upkeep of towns. Also if the tax is absolutely zero, there should be no upkeep. Or it would be very little. This could definitely help new cits who just bought 200k off of meepcraft.com to stay on meepcraft and possibly buy more ranks or meebles.

This is all we needed here.

'' if the tax is absolutely zero, there should be no upkeep. Or it would be very little. ''
But why? This is a good way to reduce money in the eco.

''This could definitely help new cits who just bought 200k off of meepcraft.com to stay on meepcraft and possibly buy more ranks or meebles.''
Orrrrr... They could make money in game.

Making money is crazy easy. the upkeep is pretty low as is.
There's no need to lower it.

I have suggestions that might help solve the problem with upkeep associated with towns, instead of lowering it at all; make sure that the town is cost effective, meaning that you only claim plots that will be owned by residents, and avoid claiming additional plots (ex. roads) that will cost the town additional upkeep. Claim and unclaim roads that lead to plots, and keep close tabs on the town bank.

Keep tabs on taxes as well; balance out the total upkeep costs with the meebles earned from resident and plot taxes to prevent the town from potentially losing money.

It takes some work to make sure that your town(s) will stay afloat (coming from the owner of two metropolis towns). You need to be willing to put in the time, effort, and money to keep a town financially stable.

Well then what about a thing where you pay 300k or if you have a big town like butter land or ebon you would pay 2million that would be great.

    What?
    Why?
    what are you talking about?
Ebon and butterland have a nearly 100K difference in upkeep
    I don't see your point

Good idea, but too many downsides, like @Muunkee - Alexia pointed out. I personally think the tax is already quite low for plots, considering it used to be 100 each...
Getting your own money and keeping a town alive, regardless of your rank is perfectly possible.

Denied due to negative community approval and this would not be good for the economy. Thank you for the suggestion, though! :)
