Some kind of football minigame

And please do not turn this thread into a debate about the name, this thread is about what comes down here. So please proceed with reading.

Did anyone of you play Rocket League before? I liked the way they merged playing football with cars and stuffs which is something new and completely fun. So my suggestion is that maybe, if possible, we can get a new minigame called football or something where you actually have a football stadium, with 2 teams, 2 nets, one ball (could be any in game block or a mob, a chicken or w/e idk)

For staff, please make sure someone reads this, as I always post suggestions but never get answered by staff which makes me upset, especially that I do all the trello re-search, plugin re-search, forums re-search to make sure not to spam an "already being suggested" suggestion, but then nobody sees it. So please be nice to Frenchie, let someone read this and just let me know, I love feed backs.

I swear this comment became so classic that I was gonna add in my thread a note saying "dont relate this suggestion to towny", but then I backed up.
Anyway, been a while since I saw this "focus on Towny" for the first time, and nothing ever happened since then. Logically, if someone is working on Towny at the moment I promise you he won't be bothered by a mini game suggestion, I say again: if someone was working on it in the first time.

Did you like this suggestion? -1 because of another server topics isn't really objectif. Only stick to what I am suggesting right now.

I am sticking to what you are suggesting, Meepcraft is not aiming to be a hub server, it is aiming to be a towny server.

 

Tbh, this would be as dead as spleef in a matter of hours. -1 and +1 to what Mocking said.

 

That is very true, the thing is I lost all faith on meep towny tbh.

I believe it's gonna be different, as if we have a football mini game then we can have teams, people like to team + maybe add something like creating a team needs money and upkeep idk like irl, we can also have tournaments right? daily games? weekly cups? I mean lot of things could be added if this mini game was a thing.

Note like a spleef game that starts and finishes in less than few minutes, you don't have a permanent score and tournament board. I mean football could be lot of things and we can even add the managing a team aspect. I believe people will find this interesting, something new to manage.

 

Ok. There's still no need to put in salt in the wound with more minigames.

There is already a soccer minigame in the hub of a much larger server that uses a slime as a ball.

I really like this idea, I don't think that it would work if it became too big, monthly seasons and team management seems do-able without any overkill. Perhaps each monthly season could end in a finals event?

Towny has been pretty much untouched for a very long while.
I'm all for improvements to towny, but it's just not happening.

 

I say again, no need to rub salt in the wound. There's a chance of it happening now, if we start adding more minigames there is no chance of it happening anytime soon.

They are not rubbing salt in any wounds. This is a suggestion even if it gets accepted it doesn't mean it's going to be done. If it was put in line and the funds were available. It would be placed after the towny update.

There is no need for you to be speaking to this community in such a dissrespectful way. If it's not meant to be interpreted like this then rethink how you write.

There is nothing wrong with looking in the long term in fact I admire and appreciate those that do.

 

I disagree. How will adding a minigame to the queue in any way speed up towny?
By adding this minigame to the queue you're putting towny at risk.
By not adding this minigame to the queue there is no risk.
I don't want to have a risk putting a minigame in place that will be dead a few days after it's been put in.

Do you know this for sure, or are you guessing?

Disrespectful way? I'm giving my opinion, just because it's not the same as yours doesn't make it disrespectful.
