Staff messages in global chat.

Simply remove the staff messages in global chat, there is literally no need for I to be seeing staffs general chat when I /gtoggle; it just kinda defeats the whole purpose of the toggle in the first place.

 

how about remove it for everyone but supermods and admins

for any important messages they can easily broadcast them as expected but either way i'd be fine with just admins

 

I always feel a bit bad when im talking a lot in global because i know im spamming those with /gtoggle so, i agree with removing helper/mod from overriding the filter but not smod+

 

Why not smod+?

 

Sometimes smods have important info.

So they should be given the broadcast command and if they have something important they can put it there

 

Smods+ arent as active in chat so they arent really spammy. They also often have important information to share whether it be part of a discussion or an announcement and players should see these messages.

 

Smods can be chatty lmao. Just because its a less common occurrence doesn't mean it should be ignored.

 

It's not that theyre not chatty, but rather that there's 6 total i think? Versus 20+ helpers/mods

 

/broadcast is there for any important messages that's all that's needed

 

It's still a valid point that supermods, and even admins, put out irrelevent info to those who want global toggled off.

Give supers the broadcast thingy and have them use that
or give them some other command, that bypasses the toggle, like /gb (global broadcast) something like that

Anyways, +1. I can say that we do get a little spammy (it isn't bad) and I think Supermod+ should only be in it.

I think that /gtoggle should only ignore admins and smods can have /broadcast

 

I'm really tired of gtoggling and seeing shains having a general conversation, almost every day. I can't remember the last time a supermod made an important announcement.
