Just get rid of the vote messages already.

They do little else but clutter up the chat logs.

If I may suggest, why not just make it so messages only show up when somebody actually gets a prize for voting such as notes and stuff.

It'll get the message across to remind people to vote. But with less clutter and spam.

Besides all that comes up now is the Meepcraft_Is_Love name anyways. Why not just put it out to pasture.

 

I suggested this before and nothing has been done. It's been months.

Idk, for some of the most simple things, it takes a lot longer. Like the case sensitive chat thread accepted a year ago. (Ok, it wasn't actually a year ago, but June, 2015)

Once the staff fixes the voting system it will not be a major problem anymore, i don't mind the (person just voted!) popping up, it always reminds me to vote and that is good because i tend to forget it.

Yes it's very annoying that people had to use the voting sites in a bad way to make fun in chat. But i do not want (person just voted!) gone just because some people abuse the voting sites.

 

Personally I think it's more important to focus on other things rather then fixing this we will survive

 

So I just want to give some information on why we have this implemented.

When you see a new player that player has to have found our server somehow, most players find our servers on voting sites. We used to not have the voting advertisements on the server, what that resulted in was that we didn't get a lot of new players to the server at all. The advertisement for voting was implemented to make people remember to vote. And we know about the issues with voting and we are trying to work out a fix for it.

My Opinion:

I can agree that we could make it so that when you voted on all websites the advertisements could go away, but I think that removing them all together would be bad for the server. Looking at the amount of new players that the voting brings to our server.

 

Just make it so that if you've voted the previous day, you won't get voting broadcasts the next day... Everyone satisfied.

 

I mean eh, I kinda use them to see if the vote went through, but it's not that big of a deal.
