CTF Coin System- Trello Suggestion Expansion

I went on trello today and noticed a pending change to CTF, as far as the economy system and upcoming CTF shop.

I have a few suggestions for the coins that CTF might give in the coming update.


Coin Gain
Coin gain would be the amount of coins one would receive in a given game.

• Obtain 10 coins per kill
• Obtain 20 coins per flag capture (counts only if you were on the tower for longer than 50% of the capture process, and only obtainable once every 30 seconds per flag to discourage exploitation)
• Obtain 400 coins for being on the winning team and 75 for the 2nd place, 3rd and 4th receive 15 (Just to encourage teamwork)

All of these coins can/would be multiplied by donor multipliers, increasing by 0.25 per donor rank up.

The Shop
The CTF shop would use your coins to buy CTF ranks, increasing spawn gear and materials
Rank 0 (Default):Leather Helmet, Leather Tunic, Stone Axe, Wood sword, 5x Cooked Pork.

Rank 1:Leather Helmet, Protection I Leather Tunic, Stone axe, Stone Pickaxe, wood
sword, 6x Cooked Pork.

Rank 2: Leather Helmet, Protection I leather Tunic, Leather Boots, Stone Axe, Stone Pickaxe, Wood sword, 6x Cooked Pork.

Rank 3: Protection I Leather Helmet, Protection I Leather Tunic, Protection I Leather Boots, Stone Axe, Stone Pickaxe, Wood sword, 6x Cooked Pork.

PRESTIGE: Reverts Back to Rank 0, but spawn every time with A Diamond Pickaxe and Haste I. You also obtain +1 Prestige Token and +1/2 heart for the first 2 times you prestige, leaving a maximum of 10% extra HP per life.

Rank 0 is the default rank, so it would be free of charge. Upgrading to rank 1 will cost 700 tokens, rank 2 1400, and 700 per additional per rank up. This costs 38,500 coins to rank up to 10. Prestige will cost 11,500 coins with the prerequisite of rank 10 in order to accomplish. In a full prestige run, it will cost 50,000 coins to purchase the necessary upgrades.

Coin Trader

• Buys each coin for 8 meebles
• Sells each coin for 12 meebles

Miscellaneous Shop
In this shop, you can buy misc. Items for coins which benefit you, but are not necessarily included in any ranks.

• 1x Enchantment Table for 2,500 coins
• 15x Lapis for 2,500 coins
• 2x Golden Carrot for 2,500 coins
• 1x Fishing Rod (Unbreaking I) for 3,000 coins
• 1x Splash Potion of Poison (0:09) for 6,000 coins

Prestige Shop

Use prestige tokens to unlock valuable perks or team boosters.

+4 Initial Points for your team. Cost: 1 Prestige Tokens. Can only be purchased 5 times, and only works for up to 15 purchases on one team, maximum of +60 initial points.
+1 Speed I Pot (0:30). Cost: 1 Prestige Tokens. Can only be purchased twice.
+10% Capturing Speed (EXCLUDES HEALING BASE). Cost: 2 Prestige Tokens. Purchasable 5 times.
+1 Enderpearl. Cost: 3 Prestige Tokens. Can only be purchased once.

I hate kits. Really, I do. Everyone is on an extremely uneven playing field, and especially if you're new to that game it's incredibly frustrating to get hammered by people with the coolest items. It's why I don't play infected because as a low rank I can't do anything unless I'm a human and camp with the others.

 

CTF is different from infected, that even if in this hypothetical change to the game, mining would be superior to any armor or weapon you would get in this game. Higher level kits get better pickaxes, but even as a rank 0 it is possible to get diamond armor.

I see what @Muunkee - Alexia is saying, kits are kind of discouraging. If someone is prestige 15 or so, that entire team has an advantage. They could potentially just take over the healing base without any chance of recovery.

On the other hand, I feel that this would be a neat addition to the game. Atleast if it is done right. Maybe unranked people could get some kind of headstart.

 

+1, pretty good idea, but a kill should be 5 coins instead of 10+
Maybe 10 coins for a reclaim?
And I don't think you should be able to buy coins, seems kind of unfair. Maybe you should be able to buy coins from players like in infected, /sendcoins.
