I agree with you all, its not easy being a citizen but people will recognize you if you simply care about others and try to help anyone you can. I believe in all of you and I hope that we all will be positive and kind to one another. I have never had this many people who cared about me, because of Meepcaft I have all the love and support that I need, thankyou so much for being there. <3

See, you don't know until you have perks. Once you start using perks, your perspective completely changes. You become too reliant on those commands. I actually experimented with myself and tracked how often I used donor commands, and I realize how hard it is to going back to acting like a cit now that I have donor privileges. One day, if you ever become a donor, you'll understand. :)

The purpose of this discourse wasn't that we have it hard from a gameplay perspective necessarily. I agree the use of donator commands makes it easier (and I had access to a donator account once upon a time) but the argument here, at its core, that people don't care about or listen to the citizens. I find the level of attention given to citizens is correlated but not caused by being a citizen.

There are some other factors leading to people not liking citizens. They're new. The community is pretty welcoming but you have to work at it. New players tend to be citizens. It's definitely related but the reason isn't because they're citizens, it's because they're new. People who can't donate can also sometimes be young. Young people don't engage well in conversation, they don't join the forums (and don't know the rules), and they don't join teamspeak. It takes a bit to earn your place here but anyone can do it no matter their rank.
