Halo Ideas.

    I've had some ideas for Halo, in the form of game modes.

    Including a Capture The Flag Mode.

    A "No Hold's Barred" meaning, Team Deathmatch where rockets are actually allowed.

    A "Domination type mode" where teams capture objectives from eachother simply by being in the vicinity. Or maybe flipping a switch that changes from blue to red and back again depending on waht team flipped.

    A "Gambler" mode where instead of winning a flat rate of coins for wins and such, you can bet your own in various intervals. Maybe having several rooms for different amounts. A 1000 coin room, a 10000 coin room etc.

    A "Control Point" game mode like the one in TF2.

    A "Firing Range" where you can try out weapons that you would get in the future. i.e. A person curious about the rocket launcher can take one to the firing range and try it out.

    A "Siege Mode" game where one team is tasked with defending a fortress of some kind against the other team in a best of 5 game.

    A "Duel" mode.


    Any other ideas?

    Especially to the gambler mode, I would enjoy high risk Halo. As well as dueling.

    CTF in halo would be awesome, but because we already have ctf it probably won't be accepted. +1 to all else

    so basicly a team deathmatch where you can use any gun, but people will probably only use rockets? we already have this it's called teamrockets

    but nobody besides people who had access to rockets liked them
    so pretty much, only the people who reached the level for rockets would play that..right?

    Classic Halo as in, guns around the map. You only spawn in with an assault rifle and pick up random weapons on the map. Lvling wasn't really a big deal since it was basically just skill based

    Every time i go into halo all i can think is holy bullet drop. You need to shoot straight up in the air to hit someone far away. Not only that but it takes 4 hours for a non-rocket to reach its intended target 2 feet away so any assault style weapons are mostly useless

    Then people go and jump up and down like madmen and so the drop and speed means you miss almost every time. More of a game of luck than of precision and skill.

    It's a pretty far cry from what Halo used to be, even with the Rocket spamming you had to be pretty precise to get a good score with them as they moved quite slow. They actually required speed and planning to use to their fullest. Specially when you wanted 60-80+ kills a game like I used to get.
