We get curious to know people's previous rank but we just don't want to ask them. So add /rankhistory to see rank history Please add.

 

Im confused. What is this for? Please go into further detail.

 

We get curious and this would stop some spam like hey (Random person who has a rank) What were you before (rank)

 

The ranks go in order: Vip Premium Exclusive Elite Supreme Ultimate.

 

People can skip ranks though.

As to your point though, this would be completely useless other then that reason. I don't really see it needs to be added.

I mean... if something similar to /history is doable with ranks and won't take hours to do, why not? I, too, am sometimes curious as to when a player got a rank.

 

As a rankholder - It's none of your business when I got my ranks. My ranks are a financial transaction between me, and the server. It's silly to expect anything other than privacy regarding such transactions.

Yes, that's why we have a donations page, where you can track all the private transactions. Thinking of this strictly as a business is silly in some cases.

Last time I was in IKEA, they didn't have a list of last customers and what they bought hanged by the entrance doors, but Meepcraft does.

Again, if it's a simple thing as adding something into the code within an hour, I see no harm in implementing this idea however few people it will help.

Otherwise, I agree it's not worth the time of our single tech.

 

Being able to see a list of recent donors is one thing, but I cannot find a way to track the purchase information on each and every user.

More to the point, this is not a question about time management, resources, or the value of such a plugin - The point is, my financial transactions are between me, the server, and anyone I decide to tell, regardless of how this server is viewed, I still made a purchase and that information is not meant to be public.

I just think this is all a bit nosey, gotta know everything about every ban, every kick, every ban appeal, everyone's money, their donor rank purchases, etc.

And I have to disagree again. It's not about you and the server. Let me remind you:

"Want to receive perks like X? Donate at ...." It's quite public for everyone to see.

I agree there is no way to track older donations (or purchases, call them whatever you want), but you can definitely track all of them from ... For example now.

 

Developers should spend an amount of time on a feature directly proportional to the amount of value that feature provides to the community.

0 value = 0 time

 

like a lot of peopel said... there is no point whatsoever to this... its more a waste of time... and when someone else got their rank is none of your bussness. if they dont wanna tell then you have to respect that. Simple.
