Star Wars (Spoilers)

Just watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
How do you feel about the movie?
NOTICE: Spoilers are allowed!

 

I thought it was reeeeaaaaallllyyyyyy great! Permanently smiling after seeing it lol. It had a great plot, kept you on the edge, and it even had a small romance to go with it. The only thing I didn't like is how there were so many hero characters! I felt like there was too many people to keep track of and you couldn't really attach to just one (like Luke Skywalker in the original trilogy). But yea, besides that it was super duuuper cool : ))))

 

I really liked the movie, except the fact that Han Solo was killed by his handsome son

 

Tbh (gonna get hated for this); I didn't think it was as good as I was hoping. The originals were more appeasing to me.

 

I honestly thought I was not going to enjoy it, at the beginning of the movie I went to the bathroom to kill time. It was pretty good in the end, I just wish Jacen didn't die, I liked him.

Great movie, but JJ Abrams is a jerk now cause he killed Hans Solo

 

I believe it wasn't the best, and it wasn't the worst either. The Force Awakens was better than Phantom Menace and maybe Attack of the Clones (maybe), but certainly not as good as Return of the Jedi.
One problem I faced was that they didn't sell it to me. When 5 planets were blown up, they didn't make me feel outraged. I didn't feel that connected to the planets, and they didn't visualize what was happening as well in my opinion. It wasn't like Order 66 when children were slaughtered and everyone was thrown into turmoil and confusion. Concluding that Order 66 made me cry and nothing in The Force Awakens did.

Heh heh hey instead of making a death star lets make a BIGGEST DEATH STAR that doesn't blow up one planet because it can blow up five that feels like an original idea. Oh, and we should have a mysterious masked villan. Gee i sure am glad we have these completely original ideas for our franchise.

We must remember, however, that Rylo idolizes Darth Vader (hence why he has the mask). I am going to read the book because it explains more about the relationship that Rylo has with Vader, and why he puts more emphasis on him rather than the emperor or someone else. Vader wasn't exactly the biggest baddest bully on the playground, so why does Rylo like him so much? I doubt it's a family thing.

 

Well it certainly wasn't as good as it would have been if Disney allowed Abrams to revise the script as he originally wanted.

Anyways...

I am not sure if I liked the added comedy in a Star Wars movie... I mean, it wasn't bad, but certainly didn't feel like it should have been there in that scale.
All the perfect timings/moments really annoyed me. It usually was the case with Star Wars, that some scenes were more believable than others, but the new Star Wars was pushing this concept a bit too far. Some things I even found illogical, hillariously stupid.

I didn't like Finn - really out of place, comedic character. Rey seemed like an elvish scout from Lord of the Rings (do you think she is the daughter of Luke btw?). Leia and Han were adorable Love that they chose to include the original characters... speaking of which, Luke worked his butt off in this movie. Oh and, Snape got a part in Star Wars as well! I am impressed (I am referring to the son of Han).

Best Actor Award: BB-8

All things considered, I'd rate it a 7,5/10. I really enjoyed it, but expected something totally different. It just didn't feel like the old good Star Wars.
