Towns Delta

Third towns world. Except, make a custom towny plugin! Meepcraft is known to be the largest towny server, but we're more of a hub server. With a new towny world with a completely custom, unique, and awesome new towny plugin, Meepcraft would live up to its name, and I'm sure that this would be great for the server, especially the new players. New players probably come and see nothing different. But with this, way more people would be attracted to towny here instead of other servers.

While I do enjoy the minigames being implemented, I feel like something new needs to be brought in concerning towny. Especially since MeepCraft is essentially a towny server, so this would give many opportunities for players to build new towns and invite their friends.

 

What would be in this custom plugin? Meepcraft towny is already custom. How would this one be different?

Custom plot sizes
Towny upkeep depending on residents and plots
Custom biomes
I really can't think of much off the top of my head, but I'll try to edit this.

Do you have any other reasons why not? Did you even read the reasons I provided or just the title? If you're going to down vote, mention the points I named.

In response to the second part, because the name doesn't matter. The idea does though

 

How so? This would actually make the eco go down due to people making towns quickly. Millions can be spent within minutes of a towny world opening up. You should have see when beta first opened, it was crazy.

i can go and make a towny server that has like 90% of the same features meepcraft has(not including minigames). the towny plugin is a public plugin with a free download

yeah I was a bit confused
but some things are different, yet it's still not completely "custom"

The suggestion is for something to stand out, something to really make us say "towny" instead of "hub".

 

I wouldn't mind seeing a 3rd towny world.

Because Charlie is military code. It could also be Gamma because Gamma comes after Alpha and Beta in the Greek alphabet. Delta kinda seems better suited though for some reason.

It would be a great addition to the game and would help the server grow.

If you don't want towny war, Stick to Alpha and Beta, Easy solution

 

Permanent towns that have "offices" within the town. Residents can be elected to those town offices.

Council President
Council
Treasury
etc

The local government of those towns could build/expand as they see fit. Every month residents can vote in new officials, etc.
