Honestly this whole election is a joke. I would much rather have Trump than Hilary lol.

Bernie Sanders is a complete fool.

Donald Dump and Hitlery Clinton are both bad.

From what I've seen, Sanders is the most honest and ideologically consistent candidate I've seen yet. He looks out for the better interest of the citizens and isn't influenced by big money. I honestly don't see how people can't like him.

I'll list the things I like about Sanders:
    1. He sticks to the same story (from what I can tell.) He's honest about things, and he earnestly believes in what he's doing.
    2. He's a successful person.

    Things I don't like:
    1. He's, as far as a comparison to the rest of America, pretty darn socialist.
    2. He made his money in a Capitalistic society, and now wants to move towards socialism. Seems a little strange, no?
    3. He claims Republicans are greedy because they're rich, and he's rich himself...

Ikr. Hillary is last on my list of wanted, and first on my list of unwanted. Trump would be a lot better, and Ted Cruz would be even better than he would, imo. But really, I'd be happy with just about any Republican at this point.

"corporate america isn't going to like me"

Then guess what, they will leave the country and outsource and there goes your jobs, poof. Socialism is not going to work. We have tons of social systems put in place now and adding more isn't going to solve anything but cast us further into debt which at this point isn't a huge issue (roughly GDP)

Sanders really shouldn't run as a democrat and should just run as a member of the socialist party.

And better interest of what citizens? The ones that don't try to make something of themselves and work? His whole "not going to college is a pathway to prison" is a load of crap. My aunt didn't go to college and in no way is on a path to prison. Its just an excuse that hoodlums use to act like animals.

He simply does not understand economics and America would fail as a socialist nation.

    Democratic socialism.
Would really like to find a source for this.

You may not need college to get through life, but it does make it a hell of a lot easier.
He's a democratic socialist. There's quite a difference between the socialism you're referring too.

The government can't fund every student to go to school for 20,000 a year at a state school (lowered rate because of government aid) and besides are we going to have college grads working at McDonalds then? Someone needs to work those jobs sadly enough. Not everyone is fit to go to college and college isn't the end all be all. If you want to go to college and worry about the "crippling" student loan debt then be responsible and choose a field where you can pay it back. Everyone wants a handout.

Anyway, the whole premise is flawed because if that wako gets into power then there will be a whole lot less jobs because he is going to raise the tax rate and "livable wage" for jobs such as McDonalds (which should not give a livable wage, its meant for high schoolers and not parents, and if you're a parent that expected to support a family on a McDonalds salary you are a complete fool. Who cares if you're a college grad when your degree means crap and you can't find a job because there is no more industry in your country?

I would also like to add that I don't think blood sucking leeches are entitled to a larger portion of my $120,000+ salary considering they did nothing to help me attain it.

I've never really agreed with him on the hourly wage part. The $15 wage is ridiculous. A $10 minimum wage is more reasonable.

Although, the gap between American worker salaries is constantly growing. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. People who are poor do usually work hard. Maybe college should cost some money, but it shouldn't be putting people in debt. You know, most of the tuition doesn't even go to education. A lot of it goes to their sport teams. Why should students who want an education have to pay ridiculously high tuition and be put in large debt when the school they're going to shouldn't even be so expensive in the first place?

Sanders said, “Essentially, when you watch that debate, just imagine if you are one of the wealthiest people in this country and extremely greedy and selfish, and you’re going to have ten candidates more or less talking about your needs and not the needs of working people.”

Therefore, we will forcibly take the rich people's money and give it to people who didn't earn it.

Actually Sanders is one of the least wealthy presidential candidates [1], with his net worth being around $528,014 [2]

I'm not sure where you're coming from when you say most tuition is going to sports teams. University of Florida for example may give out a set amount of scholarships for their roster and their tuition for instate residents is dirt cheap. The football team brings in a ridiculous amount of money from clothing sales, mugs, all that garbage merchandise not to mention ticket sales, and most of all television contracts. College like everything is a business and if there are still people willing to pay for it then they can do whatever they want to their rates. It's a free market after all. Do I enjoy paying $34,000 a year for pharmacy school? No, I don't and I am not going to like paying for Med school if I choose to go later but its necessary.

"The rich get richer and the poor are getting poorer"

That's odd because under this presidency social programs were expanded and taxes on the wealthy were raised yet there still is a widening of the group. Its all about who wants to help themselves in this country. If you're determined to succeed you can "make it". Sure, some people are born into wealth but it is their own parents' right to give what they earned to their offspring. Its illogical to say that if some kid in high school doesn't bust their ass and work at school they can't get accepted to a good university and live comfortably in the future. Its the people that slack off then just go through the motions and get a garbage degree to party, all the while accumulating $200,000 in loans that ultimately complain. Their own complaints stem from their own irresponsibility and ignorance.

I'm not saying "Vote for Trump" because he's an idiot but the rest of the candidates surely are too. Hilary most of all has just shown a complete lack of competence on every stage while she held a position of power. Sanders, well you know my position on his economic plan and the other guy is irrelevant. When it comes to the GOP the party is so messed up its pathetic. Trump brings up important issues and proposes illogical solutions that he has no power to fix in the way he wants. BUT that doesn't mean he wouldn't try to fix them through legal matters, example: more vigorous screening for refugees, increased border security etc...As far as I'm concerned my position on this election is simple. All the candidates are crap so I'll just vote for the most successful internet troll that somehow is leading the GOP, lmao.

5 Easy Steps to becoming President of the USA.

Step 1: Be wealthy. Stupid people think you're literally God or something if you're wealthy.
Step 2: Insult everyone, then use your wealth to claim moral high ground. Since you made a crapload of money, nothing you say can be completely wrong.
Step 3: Radicalize supporters by telling them they're under attack from people who look, think, and act different than them.
Step 4: Ride the idiot wave into power.
    Step 5: Profit!

All I'm saying is that it wasn't always like this in the United States. College used to be very much affordable for college students who get a job. Now, there's no way students can work enough at minimum wage to get themselves through school.

There are people who work hard and succeed in life. Getting accepted into a good school is one thing. Almost anyone can do that if they try hard enough. Being able to afford it is a whole new issue. Why should college have to result in being put in debt?

    Uh, okay then.

    Wha-at?
    --- Double Post Merged, Dec 23, 2015 ---
Exactly. I have a friend who owns (well, his parents own :p) a three million dollar home in a rich neighborhood. I can tell you right now, though, he could get into almost any school he wanted because he's smart, and, well, he's smart. Probably smarter than I am, lol. (I'll admit that about very few people.) Does that mean that the government should find a way to tax or limit his intelligence? It arguably gives him more of a benefit that money does, so shouldn't he have to share it? That's stupid!

I can't afford $34,000 a year either, that's what student loans are for and do I want to pay them back? No, but I have to and its life.

Is that really your argument? "Because I have to, and that's life."?

I really want to know the thought-process when you and @Ranger0203 look at that, and think... "Yeah. That makes sense."

I mean, you could same the same for mandatory sentences for minor drug possession.

"I can't go around with drugs in my pocket, that's what prisons are for and do I want to go there? No, but I have to, and that's life."

You guys are much smarter, much better than this. It's a vacuous argument. Explain why you think student loans are good ideas. Why they shouldn't be reduced in price. Rather than "Well, that's life brah".
