You know those times when you modreq and then your question or problem is solved? there should be a command to /modreq cancel so you don't waste staffs time or if you accidentally modreq.

You'd have to negate the use of the command for modreqs beginning with the word cancel although theyre not too common. Also have to moderate abuse of the canceling i.e. having a modreq in and canceling when staff reply.

the staff's command to close a modreq is /done (modreq number).
if you type /check when you're not staff, if you have a modreq open you can see your own modreq, with your own number.
So really what you want to suggest is allow is to do /done (our own modreq number).
    but yes. +1.

As long as it doesn't allow people to Cancel others numbers, Thats a good idea.

I could just /cancel (# after mine), etc.

It takes about a minute to assess they no longer need help, and allowing players to cancel modreq opens up the ability to spam us with them. If we're in the same world as the filer, we get a little ding. I understand such a thing probably wouldn't happen too often, but neither does people no longer needing help.

You know staff deal with maybe a hundred or more modreqs in a day, right?

    lol no
we get like 300 players in a day, and only 1/3 of them would probably need help
In quiet hours there are like 2 modreqs in an hour, maybe less
in busy hours we're talking a dozen an hour
    it's not 300

    Denied.
We do not see a benefit from implementing this and can be easily abused. Simply just say you don't need any help when the staff member messages you.
