Since I'm totally not in any way biased to wanting 'inappropriate' language on Meepcraft, and am uselessly offended by the fact that Staff is so willing to shootdown achmed, let me whine for a minute.

Now I don't know what he said, it's kind of private for some reason, but I find it funny how that since he says a sexual reference, he gets banned for a bit because some random comes into his town and reports him. Well personally I'm offended by the constantly oversexualized Anime. But that seems to be allowed, I just find it funny how people can't take a sexual reference or joke, but are completely able to let the Anime slide. (if you don't know what I mean, I mean the sexualized pictures {Pictures and those ones of like the chicks tryina kiss you through the screen etc.}

Considering the history was awhile ago and this was pretty much a slipup, IMO it should be shortened.
But these are staff following staff policy.
The anime girl kissinf you through a screen isn't very sexual, nor is it all bad. Kissing isn't a huge thing, nor is it banned for or even warned for usually.
It all depends on what he said really. Its not the staff's fault, but the policy's fault. If you want to change policy, make a suggestion.

You don't have to argue for me because staff are less flexible than a brick. I won't have my ban shortened and I've accepted that. However, I do really appreciate that you've stood up for me and see the lighter side. But this discussion will be locked in no time. Thanks again.

 

Once we get past the reality that the staff members are not perfect, then we can understand that they have the capacity to make mistakes, which is apart of the learning process. I was once banned for scamming by Jwarian for saying, "selling Mrs Megan 500k!," and I was also banned by Oroperion for saying, "twerks with Jackl." So at least from my experience people make mistakes! In the mean time, staff should stand up to this reality and accept that they do make mistakes and take ownership of it, rather than defending each-other to the death and treating the wrongly banned person as a experiment saying, "we will do better next time."

Anyways, that my two cents.

also well I might be a tad extreme, tak, but it really is because like, (I'm assuming they're from games or whatever because that's constantly used in Japan) and like, most anime things like that have constant themes of sex but tak.

 

Anime is just cartoons. There are many kid-friendly ones. There are many that aren't kid friendly, but have little to no sexual content. And there are X rated animes (hentai).

Looking her up, I'm not seeing anything sexual content related. That's not to say there is none out there involving her in the depths of the internet, but she's a singer and she's in a manga series. I don't know a lot about her, just what wikipedia says, but still.
She's not even wearing that much of a flashy outfit, especially compared to some other characters.

I'm 100% certain that if people want to moderate properly, they needed to accept both sides of the argument. Then this. xD
Also, staff acts like they're not saying much more disgusting stuff lmao.

 

Its funny because when reggles interviewed me,we disscused that bans that occurred over a year ago should not be a refrence for those bans

 

Eh, there are many kid friendly ones but I'll say that anime tends to be geared more towards teens so there's often more "suggestive" material in them. I've seen some gifs on this forum that he's referencing, but even then there is no direct display of sexual content or messages.

 

Your's is probably the closest thing to sexual content in all the anime gifs we have xD
I do agree, I was just listing that fact. There are a lot of overly sexual animes, but there also a lot of not. Lots of people seem to think anime is literally just sex and sexual content and most of it being hentai, but it's not, not at all.

 

I meant "Accept" as in agree, it's completely fine to have disagreeing opinions yet still reach an amicable point. I admit I was a bit stubborn, but I'm following the rules I've chosen to represent. One exception leads to a double standard. I was not apart of the ban process so I'm not able to affect your ban length in anyway even if I wanted to. Forgive me if I was too stubborn =)

 

If you weren't part of the ban process, then it probably wasn't helpful to talk at the start anyway. However, I do appreciate your honesty regarding the whole 'stubborn' thing.
