I'm not an extremely religious person, but that's not the point.
I believe this section was devoted to Minecraft debates. Why would you debate about government on a minecraft server forum? Take it to a government forum, if those exist, buddy.

What in the hell is a minecraft debate.
Plus you trying to be cheeky by saying "buddy" just makes you sound like a stuck up keyboard warrior.

My mistake. Still, a strange topic for someone to be discussing on a minecraft server forum. . .

Why are we letting immigrants in? They should only be let in if, like Skaros said, they can help the country. If they cannot help the country, or will go on tax-payer services, why let them in? If they really want to help the USA, or they are escaping drug cartels, then they should apply for asylum. However, the conditions a lot of them live in are truly inhumane. Also, yes they are taking jobs away from Americans, but the Americans are too fat and lazy generally to even take menial jobs! However I do agree with you that something has to be done about the increasing number of people crossing the border.

Umm, they go to a voting booth. You don't have to prove your citizenship to vote.
That is certainly a viewpoint held by a major part of the population.
It's better than no work at all.
Better than no work at all.
They only do it for less because they're not in a position to ask for more. And yes, I would rather do all those things than have no job at all.

I don't know where you live, but I do live in a place heavily affected by illegal immigrants. They do not integrate. They keep their culture, they keep their language, and they don't adopt ours.

There are about 11 million illegals in the country. 8.1 million of them have jobs.

There are currently 9.2 million unemployed citizens in the country

    Do the math.

Math says they have a lot of our jobs, and a further 3 million of them are living off of, well, probably welfare. It annoys me a lot :/.

There are about 11.3 million illegal immigrants in the US in 2014 (A number that has been going down since 2005). Mexicans made up about 5.9 million of those illegal immigrants (Another number on the decrease). Illegal immigrants make up five percent of the workforce. That 8.1 million you said includes illegals looking for work. Not all of the 8.1 million had jobs.

Most of the rest are from South America
So one in twenty workers is here illegally, and if they're looking for jobs, they're decreasing the likelyhood of an american getting that job.

I think you should read these articles: Link 1 Link 2 Link 3 Link 4
"According to the Immigration Policy Center, a nonpartisan group, research indicates there is little connection between immigrant labor and unemployment rates of native-born workers. Here in the United States, two trends—better education and an aging population—have resulted in a decrease in the number of Americans willing or available to take low-paying jobs."

    You're citing a pro-immigration source...

The first reason might be legitimate, especially because people can basically live off of welfare for the same pay, so why work? The second, to borrow a term from the debatheist, is bogus. An 'aging' population means that we have a high percentage of older people due to increased life expectancy. It does not mean there are fewer, or even, indeed, few, young people. From personal experience, I can tell you there are many, many, many Americans who would be willing to take up many jobs, and able if they didn't have to speak Spanish to do it (Which they wouldn't if so many illegals weren't here.)

While I agree that illegals should not come here ILLEGALY.

There should be a complete reform of the immigration process.

like, It took my family 5 years to become citizens, wtf.

If I was the Prime-Minister of Canada, I would happily welcome any American who would like to escape from the wrath of Donald Trump.

Cheap labor is what fosters a successful economy, Americans will not work in Mexican held jobs or for their wages. Pretty much a lack of cheap labor will increase prices of food/unrefined resources tremendously.

Yes, but the price of that cheap labor is millions of others living off of the taxpayer's dime, through welfare. That's worse than just paying the original workers minimum wage.

In addition, it's called ILLEGAL immigration. Based purely on principles, it's wrong, and should not be happening.
