Not being annoyed by a bot shouldn't be used as a perk imo.

We need these advertisements in Meep. They are important. If you really do not like them, turn chat off completely by going into Options > Chat > Chat:Hidden.

I feel like by the time players learn this command, they will already know how to get to minigames and vote.

To me? I've seen them all. Hundreds of times. I know where parkour is. I know where to go to donate. I know how to vote and what /help does.

I never turn off global or trade.

We will be going over these things in the town hall meeting. We are going to choose where to put some advertisements (like /tr) so that they can be toggled. We wont be getting rid of the donator ones because the point if to congratulate them for donating as a community. Trust me, Its not that bad to see.

They will never actually let you toggle all meepcraft messages.
Maybe they could just slow down the automated messages a bit.

Yesterday no one was talking in global and it was just a repeated "_____ voted!" spam.

 

Can we please turn off voting spam

 

Just the special votes, the lucky ones, those can be shown as an incentive to vote
but I don't need to see every time every person votes

That's a kind of interesting idea, really.
When you've played a laser game 5 times the laser ad goes away.
complete a parkour, pk ad goes
When you've donated any amount the donation ad goes away (with the exception of sales)
When you've voted 15 times (all three websites, 5 times) voting goes away
etc
Seems like a nice idea, and it also encourages you to explore more of the server.
I like this.

 

+1 Only I think it should be a donator perk since most of the ads are giving advice for new players and telling them to donate
