Discovered Abandoned Ebon Mining System

Recently, @LlamaofEvil and I have been messing around (particularly Wild World) and decided to go mining. After about an hour of mining and exploring underground, we found a very strange hand-carved room where there were 15x15 block grids all across the floors. In the center of all the grids was a red clay water elevator with a sign stating Ebon Mining Inc. Please Keep to the Mining Method being Used. We discovered more of the room, and observed there were three floors, bottom on the bedrock level. Since we know that wild was reset fairly recently, we know that this mining method was made recently.

Technically how it played out is that we were rekking each other in towny wild and were like "les have a duel" so we went to wild, and after i was knocked off my podium into the water i conveniently fell into an underwater ravine.. after about 1 hour and 2 discovered spawners, we came across... this.

so yeah i feel special now

 

To me it seems like whoever made this wanted other people to use it, he/she says to "keep to the mining method". +1 to whoever made this.
