Introduction: Hey Meepcraft. My name is Klitcher, also known as martinq17. I am a junior in high school looking to major in journalism in College. I am the Copy Editor for my school Newspaper, and as a side hobby, I am proficient in music as I play many instruments.

I joined Meepcraft in November of 2012, and I have been an off-and-on player for a long time until a little over a month ago. I have been helper for slightly under 3 weeks as well

Why you should be Mod? Although it may seem short, these weeks as Helper have allowed me to get a strong feel for how staff runs, how the server runs, and the role I play to benefit both of those factors. I have grown outstandingly on a personal level and I have formed friendships that will last a lifetime. Being a Helper has brought me so much joy and knowledge to use in my future on Meepcraft, and in the real world. However, I feel as though I can move forward in Staff onto a more intensive level. The experience and various situations that I have gotten from the Helper position has only increased my potential in Staff and the betterment of the server. I have handled situations varying from harassment to abuse of mayor permissions. I have seen it all, and I am ready to take my experience and knowledge to the next level.

What are your weaknesses? One of my main weaknesses is cockiness. Sometimes when I'm put on the spot, in order to not come across as unintelligent or unknowing, I overcompensate and come across as cocky and rude.

Secondly, some of my humor with my friends and other players can be taken in a way that I do not intend it. I'm trying to be more sensitive with what I say and how I word things.

Totally knew you were martinq17 all along..
The app is short, but it's really straight to the point, and has absolutely none of what we call "fillers". (Sentences just there to make it look long.) I'm all about quality over quantity. You've shown extensive knowledge about commands and such when helping me with modreqs (as I just got promoted for the first time) and you seem to have nothing but good intentions. I'd love to see you in the Moderator position.

You are a great staff member, but I feel this is a bit too early. You really only just got Helper.

Not all great helpers can be great mods, or even good mods. But from what I've seen from you, you are extremely dedicated to Meepcraft, the players, and especially the staff team. You are more than ready for this position.

I am going to be honest with you. Because I work with you, I get to see you in action. You are doing well, but not ready for mod. All I have heard is "have you seen my modreq count?", but I see no mod qualities. It is too soon imo.

I had my doubts about you a while back and I even -1'ed your helper application a few months back. Since then, I've seen a lot of improvement from you and I'm impressed. I do agree that this is a little soon though.

 

While this is a bit soon, I've seen only positive interactions between you and the community. I feel as if you're ready for mod; though you haven't handled my modreqs, others will attest to the quality of your modreqs and friendliness. To be frank, you're completely opposite from the old martinq17.

With all due respect, asking for a modreq count isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially when one completes modreqs thoroughly and completely. I don't see how this hurts his chances at mod. By the way, the command is /reportrts stats Klitcher.

EDIT: Nyquil, Advil, 6 hours of homework, a fever, 2 hours of sleep, and trying to construct coherent sentences don't mix, evidently.

So as to clarify, he was saying that I am constantly asking others if they have seen my modreq amount, not what the command is.

 

I absolutely laughed to myself when you got helper.


But I think I was wrong, you're not doing half bad at all. I don't know enough about the modreq thing, but pride in your work can easily be seen as bragging.


I definitely don't ever connect you to Martinq17, which is good, cause that guy was irritating.

Why are you trying to climb the ladder as staff so quickly?

 

I have to go with +0.5. You are very active, kind and helpful, but I feel like its not time yet.

I spoke with a few higher staff before I made this app, and one of the first things I said was that I have no intention of being like Phoenix, Klutch, or Castro who climbed the staff ladder in <4 months. Now I'm not saying that I don't want to prove myself and excel, I'm just saying that that isn't my current goal.
